    Some advice

Once you start using two monitors, trust me you will not want to switch back to one. Especially if you do any kind of productivity work and need to spread things out.

I would not buy Anything with 4ms or higher refresh rate. 1ms gtg is the best you can get with in flat panel. You don't need anything larger than 27" for gaming. Anything larger than that is a distraction. BenQ is OKish for a cheap monitor. Viewsonic I would not touch. Neither one will last more than a few years before they start popping the cheap ass Chinese capacitors that they both use. Vizio is horrible for using the cheapest shit capacitors that they can find. Vizio does use a decent LG or Samsung panel in most of there TVs though. What else would you expect from a WallMart brand. They LOOK nice but do not last. My top 2 choices? I'm not a big fan of curved displays after using my brothers 32" for a bit. 1st one is a couple years old. But still a great monitor. 2nd one is a Sweet monitor for the price. https://www.amazon.com/27-inch-Monitor-PG278Q-Response-Display/dp/B00MSOND8C https://www.amazon.com/Acer-Predator-XB271HU-bmiprz-2560x1440/dp/B06ZXZ3QBD/ref=pd_day0_hl_147_1/132-5321202-0920854?_encoding=UTF8&pd_rd_i=B06ZXZ3QBD&pd_rd_r=d7f05b4d-0708-40a3-a25a-fe49e07a682b&pd_rd_w=jyD9G&pd_rd_wg=eOmzW&pf_rd_p=ad07871c-e646-4161-82c7-5ed0d4c85b07&pf_rd_r=WHYAA94D45N0P6F6KSGA&psc=1&refRID=WHYAA94D45N0P6F6KSGA

Just make sure you got a nice SSD to compliment that CPU, you can spend all the money in the world on the rest of the parts but if you are running a standard HDD it's like running a $500 machine with $2k worth of parts lol.

    Hi All

Hi everyone it's Oster a few members of XI have been wondering which appliance I am from the company, starting to think I am a microwave as I cook enemies from the inside out. In all seriousness though Oster is actually part of my name which is where I got the in game name from. I like all types of games but lately have been really enjoying COD 4 Freeze Tag and finally decided to get on the forums. At some point I would like to become a member here as the people I have met from XI are all friendly and fun to play with. Computers are my passion overall and I like to help people with both software and hardware problems so if anyone has problems I would be happy to try to assist you the best of my ability. I am pretty terrible at introductions so sorry for that but, thank you all for the friendly environment.

So Cobryis, some of us still know him and have known him when e was 14/15 years old. And got to know him by the Crysis game. But anyways,.... He asked me to pick parts for him and he hired me. Even though, I do that for free. I love to help. I already have his CPU, a Intel i7-9700k and his motherboard came in today. I want to brag about it ; ) and you can download this and watch it on your PC with for example the VLC Player: It was the third time I turned it on. First was, oh, shot no video output (DVI). Second time, I uuuhm.. had the CPU Fan plug on the system Fan header. Alright, lets go. https://ufile.io/zve9u2ov And hey, don't think with that, I am better in Dutch.. nope!

Absolutely correct. If you have a motherboard that supports PCIe NVMe gen 3.0 x4 I would pick up a Samsung 960 evo or 970 evo 1tb drive. They are literally ATLEAST x4 faster than a M.2 Sata 3 drive or regular 2.5" SSD Sata speed maxes out at 600/600 MB/s but typical speeds of 540/560 MB/s are seen with high end SSD drives. PCIE Gen 3 drive maxes out with 4,000 MB/s sequential read which is the current hardware limit until Gen 4 and Gen 5 come out and literally blow that speed out of the water with claims of being 6x faster than Gen 3. This is a rock solid choice for a good drive. Price per performance? It's a No Brainer. Just do it. https://www.newegg.com/samsung-970-evo-1tb/p/N82E16820147691

What video card do you have. Technology has gotten to the point that you almost need to match the monitor's abilities to what the video card is, and is capable of!! ASUS 144hz monitors are the best, in my opinion. I've heard really good things about the HP Omen line as well. That being said, I LOVE my Samsung monitor...have had it for a very long time with no screen blur or burn in. BenQ are budget monitors. If you really have that $1000 max spending limit, go with an ASUS ROG 144hz or a HP Omen 144 hz monitor. EDITED: I posted this before seeing SixGun's post. Even that article lists the BenQ as the budget monitor lol Also has multiple ASUS monitors on that list Personally, I would shy away from anything like a monitor as "budget". When I was talking about the video card capabilities and the monitor capabilities, do some research into G-Sync vs Free Sync (https://www.digitaltrends.com/computing/freesync-vs-g-sync/)

I am an ASUS fan. I have had BenQ in the past and they did not last long. Even had a BenQ cd rom and it only lasted about 6 months. I am not a fan of speakers but if you are I suggest this 27" one: https://www.newegg.com/p/N82E16824236808?Item=9SIAFJ86WT0653 This one would be my 32" preference: https://www.newegg.com/p/N82E16824236457?Item=9SIA24G3KG2356

  23. Personal opinion, but i feel the i7 is a waste of money. The i5 gets almost the same scores for almost every game in benchmark tests. Normally to the point where the $100+ can be saved or used in a different aspect of the computer. But i also feel that the nvidia rtx 2080 super (w/e their top card is this week) is over priced too and I'd get a lower one because most monitors only support 60fps or 144fps and anything over that is over kill, not to mention your eyes only notice things around 45hz or less depending on a lot of things... But if i had more money to throw at a PC I'd get the i7 and top graphics card... Maybe the i9 or i7 extreme... I haven't kept up with Intel's naming over the past year or two.

    Im sorry Admin's!

So its been awhile, hows it going? So i'd love to be able to rejoin the server as my ban was awhile ago and tbh i did come across as a bit of a c*ck as i always do... But! i miss playing on the server as its the best one out there and getting myself banned wasn't the best idea i admit. i just don't like backing down even when i know im wrong. So id like to apologise to the admins that i p*ssed off and wasted their time trying to figure out why the server was slower. If its not too much to ask for would they take pity on this bored AF Uni student that does not have the money to go clubbing every night where id rather chill with the Gf and play Mc on nights in Yours sincerely Jinglesjanglezz
