  1. You can talk about whatever you want in the servers from the Virus to baking cookies to sexual positions but we do not allow the talk of politics in the servers. 90% of the time it turns out ugly because people have strong views and feelings about the subject, things tend to get heated very quickly. This ruins the whole vibe of the server and ruins the fun for everyone. Then its usually a situation where a Sr admin needs to get involved to help resolve the issue. If you want to talk about politics here at >XI< we have a political forum that people can join and talk about all the politics you want. Just need to send a SR admin a request to join it.

    This needs to be said.

I really have to say this. for many years I have been gaming joining so many clans just to have fun. I started out in AAT with killingman and after a while AAT started to fall apart and killingman asked me to join him on this server. which was XI. so I did and had some fun. at the time I was into Tactical realism and joined TA. Tactical realism clan and won the league. many clans fell apart or changed the gaming rules/ you got someone that just screwed everyone over. many times I connected to the XI server for Sally, T=Rat and many others to say welcome Hudson. or dadda (god bless his sole) to drag me on ts to talk as I was an ESC Admin. bloomer when he was here would always make an effort to chat with me. I took a year out from gaming and came back to find most things in ESC had changed. so I removed my esc tags. since then I made the best move ever and that's joining such a wonderful clan >XI< just wished I would off joined sooner . And to meet the wonderful people the clan has lost over the years. people speak so high of this clan that I am proud to be apart off. but I do need to thank sally and Dadda for being my sponsor. so thank you for giving me the chance to be apart of this great clan OR shall I say family. everyone just makes you feel so welcome. Those who are no longer with us rest in peace and sorry I couldn't meet you. and thank you everyone for such fun and to all members for the work you put in to keeping such a great place to game.

  12. Feel free to try some of the other servers here, it's not like that on most servers I don't think. No politics or religious talk on the ARMA servers, that shit gets shut down. Fast. You'll only only toilet humour and foul language there. As for other CoD servers, I don't play alot of them becuase I'm shite, but the Freezetag 1 server for CoD 4 is always nice and relaxed, again no politics really.

  19. Looks like one of those weird challenges on Ready Steady Cook! I was over the Moon, today, as I had fried eggs on toast - the milkman delivered the bread and the lady who looks after the chickens on our rural estate gifted a box of hens' eggs! Buying food is more of a problem here as there are no delivery slots for any of the supermarkets available. My wife went to Waitrose during Wrinkly Hour, the other day, and the manager asked why she was there. She mentioned my dodgy ticker. In future, I told her, just scream at the top of your voice "BIPOLAR!" and watch the aisles empty ahead of you!"

  24. This Corona Virus has turned everyones lives upside down, it has affected everyone in one way or another. It will also affect >XI<, with so many people loosing their jobs and with the unknown of whats to come, people just don't have the money to spend anymore or donate to their favorite clan. In the coming days and weeks I will be making some changes to help reduce the monthly cost of the clan. This includes removing servers, and combining dedicated servers which might mean a dip in performance for some of the servers. We have money in the bank to cover shortages but I don't wanna burn through all of that in a couple months because this could last more than a couple months. So I feel reducing the overall operating costs per month is the way to go. I'm working with Duc to find the best servers we can get for our money. I hope to reduce the cost of the monthly clan fees from $600 to $400 by next month, maybe even lower if at all possible. Also with this virus we have a higher amount of people on the servers since most people are not working or can't go out and do anything. For the COD4 MW2 Freezetag the server is filling up with >XI< members, this then starts to redirect >XI< members to a different server. To help with this we have added another COD4 MW2 Freezetag server, that runs exactly the same mod just different maps, so when you get redirected you are still able to play on the same mod. Here is the server info 162.248.95.161:28960 >XI< MW2 Freezetag #2. Its times like this that having this clan/family to play with is such a blessing, I couldn't image myself not gaming with you all right now. Its a nice way to get away from the reality of whats going on in the world. Thank you to everyone in the past that has donated, thank you to everyone that signed up for the monthly subscription in the past and currently and thank you to everyone that continues to donate through these tough times. We will get through this and will be stronger on the other side. Stay safe out there and lets do our part to stop the spread of this virus and sit at home and game.

  25. I have read the article and I agree there was several things that could have and should have been done. In the early stages of these virus, most of us in healthcare were trying to come to terms with how to deal and treat this. Its been chaotic and stressful at times believe me. The article you quotes mentions that this was a worse case scenario, sadly that doesnt help those who got sick and died. As a healthcare provider, I can say without a doubt that we do our best and our priority is the care of patients. Sometimes we fall short but we are willing to put ourselves in harms way if needed to save others. I can not say that with anymore sincerity. Now that I have that way. As for your statement. Your level of "Monday morning quarterbacking" is not useful and yes unproductive. Like any profession, we in healthcare are open to constructive criticism which you havent given at all. I have heard you bitch and moan about healthcare providers twice in two different states and you profess to not rippin on doctors? This is huge crisis! We are managing something that we have never seen in our lifetime. If you do not have constructive things to say with your complaining, then I suggest you take it outside or better yet, join me in the hospital, dawn on PPE that covers you from head to toe and make a difference. God knows we can do with the help! If not, grow a set of balls and shut the hell up. Now isnt the time to bitch and do nothing, Im all open to that later but now we assistance. Sorry for the rants guys, just stressed out. Pete (Ter)

  29. Greetings friends, I would like to start this post by stating that my goal is not to instill panic, but to provide an analysis on this situation which I believe I am qualified to do and to perhaps prompt some of you to take this Covid-19 situation more seriously. I have an undergraduate degree in Biochemistry, a Doctor of Medicine degree and completed my residency training at the Mayo Clinic. I practiced medicine for 10 years. I have co-authored several scientific papers and know how to interpret scientific data. I have spent dozens of hours over the last 6 weeks combing through the available data surrounding this virus outbreak. This is not “just another flu”. The main reason for serious concern is the fact that our medical system is not prepared or equipped to deal with the surge in demand we are likely to see as this situation unfolds. While our government did eventually cut off travel arrivals from China, it was too little too late. Hundreds of thousands of people from China arrived in America before this ban went into effect, many of them likely infected and asymptomatic. Additionally, our CDC and FDA were asleep at the wheel, and in typical government bureaucratic fashion fucked the management of this up due to their desire to maintain total control of the testing procedure. This is now a situation of containment. It’s a numbers game. Yes, if you are under 65 and healthy you are not likely to become seriously ill if infected with Covid-19. However, do you have family, friends or neighbors that are older, or have pre-existing health problems? Are you willing to be so cavalier about this outbreak and be the reason one of these people ends up hospitalized? We do not have the capacity here in America to deal with tens of thousands of people that need an ICU bed. We have about 100k ICU beds here in the USA. At this very moment, approximately 75-80k of those beds are occupied with people sick from all sorts of regular ailments (yes, including some with “regular flu”) Below are some recently updated numbers from Italy and Korea to hopefully wake you “it’s just the flu” bros the fuck up. Italy -Total cases +25% 3089—->3858 -Death Toll +38% 107—->148 -ICU +19% 295—>351 -Hospitalized +33% 1346—->1790 Horrific data points out of Lombardy, Italy 9-10% cases in ICU 10% of doctors and nurses can’t work because they tested positive South Korea -Total cases 5766—>6284 -Death toll 35—>42 Almost all of the data coming out of China has been complete bullshit. Including all of the latest data showing that they have almost no new cases and most people have recovered. At one point in China, 700 million people were locked down and forced to home quarantine. Do you honestly believe they would do that for “just another flu”? Here in America we have been behind the curve and have not been doing the appropriate amount of testing and social distancing needed to slow the spread enough to prevent eventually overwhelming our healthcare system. South Korea has done a much better job with this, and they still are dealing with a rapid increase in cases. If this doesn’t change soon, we are in big trouble here in America. We cannot build a hospital in 10 days like they did in China. We do not have excess ventilators and nursing staff. If you do not take this situation seriously, you are actually becoming part of the problem. I wish all of you the best. I consider all of you my friends, and I hope that none of you ultimately become sick, or have a family member who becomes sick. I’d recommend obvious common sense stuff such as frequent hand washing and using hand sanitizer, but I’d also suggest avoiding crowded situations if they are not necessary. It’s possible that if enough people change their behavior, and all of the large conferences and gatherings are canceled or postponed we can minimize the impact of this on our society. If not, we are going to have a similar situation to China and Italy very soon. It’s entirely possible it’s too late to stop that from occurring. Be prepared for school closures and travel disruptions. Ideally, be prepared to spend a minimum of two weeks (three-four better) without leaving your home. Have enough food, medicine, (alcohol) etc that you could hunker down and avoid contact with others and public places. Chances of needing to do this are not astronomical, but they are also not zero. Peace out and good luck.

    Yes hello

Good evening XI and everyone! I've been playing quite a bit lately on the CoD4 Freeze 1 server, and thought I'd introduce myself. Thomas, 29 years old, French living in Sweden. In a past life I was admin for the Freeze Tag clan {ESC}, then I stopped playing around 2012/2013, and just came back now. Be advised that I am an easy target for knifes, but getting knifed makes me sad, so I would appreciate you people knifing Darth_Revan instead, as a retribution for all the times he did that to me. See you guys around! Mik

I absolutely hate calling off but even a sore throat is something you can't come in with. I hope everyone takes precautions like this no matter what. Stay safe guy's. ❤

  40. Stressed out is an understatement, I think alot of people are nearly in full panic mode lol. I just don't want or need my dad getting this crap. With as many health conditions as he has I doubt that he would have a chance in fighting this crap off. He doesn't get out much unless he has a doctors appointment. I'm sure that every Son or Daughter has the same concerns especially if there parent/s have existing health problems. I've had several bad experiences with our local hospitals and there doctors. My 92 year old grandmother fell and broke her hip. She was a very active, kind and funny person and in really good medical and physical condition considering her age. She mowed her own 2 acre yard and planted a big garden every year and she taught sunday school at her church. But while she was in the hospital she got a bad case of Pneumonia which she did not recover from. Who's to blame? I have no idea. Maybe it was just her time to go. Dad was given an experimental drug by his Doctor down at UPMC Bedford Memorial to help with his Diabetes and it caused his kidneys to shut down and he had what they called a mild heart attack which caused irregular heart rate. They life-flighted him up to Johnstown Conemaugh Memorial. They installed a pace maker to deal with his irregular heart rate after they got him stable. After 2 months in intensive care and 4 months of going in once a week for dialysis and a year of outpatient treatment his Kidneys are back up to 80% and slowly climbing. He's 71 and back to his grumpy self for the most part but he is a bit frail. He lost around 100 lbs in the 2 months that he was in intensive care. He weighed around 260lbs now he weighs 158lbs. I am concerned and I have a rite to be especially knowing the way that things like this can easily be mishandled. But this isn't the place for my ramblings and I am sorry @PimpedOutPete I wasn't pointing fingers at the whole healthcare profession and definitely not you. I have nothing but pure respect and admiration to anyone that helps people in need.

  41. Hey Giggles Thanks for the kind words and its very unfortunate that someone made you feel that way. I know we are making tough choices as we speak on how we treat suspected cases. This province has been amazingly well in respect to testing, which is vital. We seem to be doing well with supplies though i think they will become shorter as this progresses. Im glad that your doing all that you can do to minimize the spread of this and I can agree more, as a mom you deserve a dam medal as it is. I hope you are well and please stay safe. As for my stress, let me PM you to give you more prospective to that. J3st3r, Sorry buddy, you caught me on a bad day. Thx

  42. Pete I don't think anybody is really upset with the Dr 's cuzz we all know yall are our front lines of this. I think EVERY person on this planet is stressed out about it and right now all anybody is doing is pointing the finger at anything that comes out as messed up .... I thank all of you for being our line of defense on this. I really wish I knew for sure what was going on with me ....I did my part but I feel like I was brushed aside because of them not having what is needed to protect them selves and they SHOULD think about them selves also . In this state they are already running out of stuff to take care of the sick.

  44. Not rippin doctors that do there job the way they should. All it takes is 1 careless or infected person in the medical profession to carry something like the COVID 19 and infect many people around them. Coming in sick or not properly disposing gloves, masks or gear or simply not properly removing gloves and touching stuff like door handles, beds, elevator buttons ect ect can spread this shit since it has a life expectancy of up to three days on hard surfaces like steel and hard plastics. It was confirmed that 2 of the health care people are responsible for bringing that crap in to Life Care Center nursing home in Washington state. In total, 142 confirmed cases, including 35 deaths, have been directly linked to Life Care Center of Kirkland. The worst thing is that they waited for 3 weeks after the 1st person got critically ill to start testing people. By that time 142 of there 180 residents had got sick. CDC said limited testing, access to protective gear and staff working while sick contributed to COVID-19's spread. Have a read. https://www.nytimes.com/2020/03/21/us/coronavirus-nursing-home-kirkland-life-care.html and this https://www.seattletimes.com/seattle-news/times-watchdog/coronavirus-spread-in-a-kirkland-nursing-home-for-weeks-while-response-stalled/ Someone dropped the ball big fucking time and it wasn't the people that were housed there.

  47. The various financial bodies of the world are trying to somehow stem the tide of economic collapse. However every time they do something the reaction is that they must know something the rest of us dont and that we are closer to the end. Like there is some sort of Illuminati conspiracy. I hate to say it, but perhaps we would have been better off if they did exactly nothing at all and said 'Remain calm, all is well." Of course there are the eventual conspiracy theories. The latest is that this was all intentional by certain people in the US sending the virus to China. Since a lot of us are dumb as bricks a percentage will buy it. Long term might be interesting to see attitudes about people that get sick. If you are, should you be forced to stay home from work for a short while at least until the worst has past? Since we need to pay the bills we load up on flu medicine so we dont feel like shit and go. However if we as a people want to change it to where staying home is a requirement, by the employer or the state, then we must deal with their financial issues. Once upon a time it was called paid sick leave. These days, you are lucky to get it at all. Of course the rebuttal to that is always that its too expensive and people will be laid off. Well, choose one. If you think its too expensive, then accept that either you may get sick from those that came to work or if you are the one that is sick you might infect others. On the other hand, if you chose to require sick people to stay home then you must help them until they are no longer infected themselves.

  48. Good grief, Your an admin! I respect that you don’t want this political as you mentioned to Ghost but leave it at that. You loose any credibility when you pick one side (as you have shown prior to) than the other. As someone in healthcare for 30 years, this is serious. The numbers Harry mentioned are real and as the potential of this to spread is high. Everyone just needs to be diligent about the small things right now.
