The following is an actual question given on a University of Washington chemistry mid-term. Most of the times when this happens you don't even need to quit the game, just open the console and type in /reconnect . 9 times out of 10 that does it for me. On CoD4, that is.

I noticed that too, indeed ! Honestly though and it's my personal opinion, I kinda like it because it makes it different (also a nice change of pace) from the Vietnam server and you have to try to aim more for the head or just focus more in the game and "adapt" to this new mod... and then you find your way of what fits you the best. In some ways, it already looks a lot like the Vietnam server in my opinion, which is good I think ! (except that I miss my M16 too @Mazdarati ! lol).

First, I'm an avid 2A (Second Amendment) supporter here in the states. However, I'm a firm believer in training and requirements for a concealed carry permit. The problem that we've discovered in U.S. is that too many firearms owners believe that they can carry without training. It's a false narrative in the 2A community. Civil lawsuits, arrests and convictions prove that ideology. I have well over 30 years of firearms training ... consistent and ongoing. It's a skill that deteriorates over time. There is no such thing as completing an online course and/or taking an eight hour live-fire range course to be considered "qualified" to carry a firearm for self defense or to defend others. Period. Reality is much different than opinion and Hollywood movies. Those that believe otherwise either have no training or have never been involved in a real-world shooting incident. Or both. Fact. Beyond that disclaimer, we have a problem now related to firearms, ammunition availability and costs in the states. Why? Ammo hoarders with no training, price gouging and incompetent firearms owners. It's a recipe for disaster. The ammo manufacturers are doing their best to keep up with supply and demand. Gun shops are making a killing ... and rightfully so. Price gouging is not quite so righteous, whether it's a gun or ammo. Those with actual training have been accumulating ammo for years -- both "range" and defense ammo. By the way, your range ammo will perfectly suffice for self defense purposes. A bullet is a bullet whether it's an FMJ, hollow point, lead-free or some other over-priced "specialty" round. If you can't defend yourself or someone else with "range" ammo, then you don't understand jack shit about guns and ammunition. Too bad, so sad. The fact is that many old and new firearms owners (with or without training) are scooping up ammo and guns and paying heavily for it. There is no legitimate reason or purpose for it. If you actually HAVE consistent, routine training and have acquired ammo or a firearms over the years, then you already know this fact. If you're a "prepper" with real training, then you also know this fact. Just because you buy ammo or guns now at ridiculous prices does NOT mean that you're prepared. Firearms and ammo won't save you -- or anyone else -- if you don't know how to use them correctly and legally. I have no doubt that there will be some negative comments about his post. The FACTS exist and prove that I'm correct. If you're an idiot, research my statements and get some training. The right to own a firearm in no way protects you or others when/if you use it.

Not that the SVT had more power than a Sniper Rifle, it was that all weapons were set up for maximum lethality. I vote to put the same lethality as in Vietnam and eliminate the impact indicator, but I am not a member of the clan, I dont think that my vote is worth anything but I leave my opinion there in case someone second it.

Only by becoming a member, if you add it without you will be kicked and if you keep doing it possibly banned, rules for membership on home page but you need to be asked by an admin. Just checked and according to the stats you've never played there?, at least I can't find you?

Ya, not sure why it does it but does the same for me when playing MW2 DM. Slow download sometimes so just exit the game and come back and was normal again.

for a medium player like me ,the SVT on vietnam mod was a joke it was more power than other snipping rifle. On OW i can survie a bit longer LOL

Those who always use heavy weapons may not have noticed, but I almost always use the svt-40 and here the change is very evident. In Vietnam 90% of the time a single shot was enough, now in this openwarfare mod 90% I need 2 shots, and sometimes even 3. I personally hate that and would rather go back to Vietnam, but obviously I'll be where the bulk of the people are. Another thing I don't like is the hit indicator when you take a good shot, this is a big drawback when you get shot through a wall, a great and unrealistic snitch.

The lethality index of the weapons in this mod is lower than in Vietnam. Would it be possible to put the same lethality as the vietnam mod?

I had a lot of fun! And once we get used to the mod, i think we will do great. I want a rematch with them again.

Hey buddy bashing me is cool, much like my dogging appendage is a lot of the time, especially now the willy warmers are on Ebay. There is no trouble finding it in summer, but the winters can be a problem, I mean I haven't seen my toes for 20 years.

Hey Raisin, I'll see if it's possible to disable those affects but thinking not as it's an effect the mapper would have put in. For now, I'll remove it and mark to take a look. Thanks for the feedback.
