Hey there, I’m another Canuck, from out west, and have been playing the COD WAW Freeze Tag servers for a little while now. I stumbled across my old Call of Duty CDs in a cupboard in the early days of Covid lockdowns. Hadn’t played for a really long time, so reinstalled everything, found the freeze tag servers and I have really enjoyed them. I use to just do sniper maps, so I had to adjust my playing style. The group that plays there has a unique way of playing that makes it very fun, regardless of the teams. I basically have been learning by watching others! I’m a Math/Science/PE teacher by day, so playing gives a nice change of pace. Anyway, thanks for hosting such a fun server!

Now this is cool. With all the daily bullshit we all have to put up with its great to see something once in awhile where hopefully everyone can sit back and enjoy a great accomplishment.

I am just wondering what happen to the making Quizzes fad? It seems like the last one was in late November of 2020 and nothing new since then. Did everyone just decide to suddenly quit doing them or is it something else? I know Rob Mc made a big huge deal about never making another quiz because of something I posted as a joke about one of his quizzes he made including trying to insult my level of education which made me fall out of my chair laughing but I let it go figuring he was just blowing off steam. I even sent him a lets kiss and make up apology in hopes it would help but nothing and we really don't know each other or have ever gamed or spoke to be candid so why my remarks caused such drama made me suspect it might not be my words but rather something else. Anyway like most of my posts I digress, can someone please make more quizzes or explain to me and others how to make and post them for others who enjoy a mental challenge as well as some points to lose at the crooked Black Jack Tables we run. They are the absolute worst odds ever but some of us think the next hand will turn the whole thing around (Fucking dealer is a bitch)

Nope thats wrong. They make games not for long term success. They make games they want to last 18 months top . They then release a new game . Thats how they make money not by keeping alive an old game that nobody is buying any more.

What cracks me up about this is it a sign of a very successful product! 12-13 year gaming platforms with this loyal of a mature adult following are, I would think relatively rare. Take "Yes" for an answer Activision and cater to this market. Plus we are more addicted and have more financial resources. Geesh!

I dont even use Facebook at all and never will. So, that is that. That said, it took months for Activision to sort out the cod4 master server problem. Or get around to it.

Hmm. 1980 itself saw quite a few great lp's released. I'd say Right off the bat .... AC/DC Back in Black. Mutt Lange did a great job on it. Then you had British Steel (Judas Priest), I like Bowies Scary Monsters, but it didn't get very good reviews for some reason. Sabbath reincarnated with Ronnie at the helm (Heaven and Hell). VH Women and Children First !! J. Geils (Love Stinks), Gaucho (Steely Dan), Motorhead "Ace of Spades", The Pretenders, Ozzy (Blizzard), Lenon (double fantasy), Dire Straits (Making Movies). Plus many, many more. 1980 was a good year !! It all went to shit after 1985

I have been MIA off an on for years because real life responsibilities. However, coming back to the servers and forums after so long, I not only see new members, but also members who didn't have tags, nor were even admins. I am very happy to see the new members, people who i played with years become members, and >XI< members who are not admins. I dunno who the fuck thought it was a good idea for Sabre to be an admin (just kidding). But nevertheless, I am so proud to still be part of this family. >XI< is not only a gaming clan (community) but it is a family. We fight like siblings, get pissed off with one another, and talk shit to each other all the time. It is what family does, and >XI< is no exception. But in the end, >XI< <--- that is what reminds us to forgive one another because we are family. I can remember when I first popped into an >XI< server and immediately made friends. I was quiet for a few maps, then I said fuck you to a XI (might have been Pete or RocApe, but i don't remember. but we laugh, and then from there it progressed to me becoming an Official >XI<. I and many other's have seen the ups and downs our family has gone through out the years, including losses from our fallen brothers and sisters and experienced our fair share of drama and snowflakes and yet, we still remain strong and our bond unbroken. We have done a lot of things together such as drunk >XI< nights where as if you get frozen you take a shot. We have watched movies together as well, and also have done knife nights. Once you become an >XI< you can go back, but you will always come back. It is like a cult and these tags hold sentimental value because of the friendships it makes. So when you join our family, wear your tags with extreme pride and love one another like siblings. With that being said, we are an adult clan with adult shit talking and so forth. The Fuck yous, and middle fingers, are all fun and jokes. We are all old skool types and love offensive jokes so snowflakes are welcome but dont cry. The only thing we will never allow is racism. So please do not be offended because we are known to be some hardcore assholes and offenders. (everyone who knows me, knows I am). I am so proud to be apart of this family that I even streamed my wedding ceremony in 2011 so the >XI< 's who couldn't make it were able to watch. So >XI< means a lot to not only me, but to many of us and we hope that you too value it as we do. When you are in the server - Thawing - I have seen a lot of you newbies not thaw correctly or don't pay attention to those who are frozen and you walk right by. STOP..... Start fucking thawing and look at the mini map. You can thaw two people at the same time (It's like having a 3-some). If you are having a bad day, or are being lazy, or just want to be in the server, then do what i do, sit back and thaw and enjoy. I have a medal for it some where for being a thaw bitch. And no, I really don't suck, I just have fun because i do not take the games too serious. Accusations of Hacking - We have strict rules in place for hackers. If you think someone is hacking, record and don't bitch about it in the server. You can joke about it and say you fucking hacker newbie, etc, but don't make a big deal about it. You can go into spec and try to do a video and send it to an admin for review. If someone is hacking, they will eventually get caught and we will shame them like we usually do (and ban them). >XI< is one of the most successful gaming communities out there, so let's contribute to our continued success together as a family. In the XI Code of Conduct, it states that you need to check your sensitive feelings at the door when you come here. But that sentence continues to say, if you don't like it, don't look at it or don't comment on it. It's not meant to allow for complete disrespect for one another. We don't have prohibitions regarding language except for racist remarks and personal attacks. But the lack of prohibition means we can joke around and taunt each other in game, or in the forums, but it doesn't mean we can call someone names because we don't like them. Let's all try to keep this in mind from now on, because it's what this clan was founded upon.

I couldn't agree more. Giving people shit that you is what XI is all about, but if you think someone is hacking then go to spectate, take video, send it to the admins and we will ban them if we see them hacking. Simple as that.

i'm still waiting on someone to record me and send it over, then they can prove i don't hack :=) and thunder grow up buddy, i've been called a hacker in COD4 for the past years i've been on the XI server, just ignore it, record it and see what they think. ITs not because someone is better than you, that he is a hacker.
