It is the 2nd French revolution @FRENCHI has been tried and sentenced for constantly dropping his rifle, he has been sentenced to death by madame guillotine, @VHS2 is the executioner. Frenchi is lead to the guillotine, the crowds are screaming 'Defrost, Defrost', ignoring them he gives a little bow and lays his head upon the block, calmly gazing into the basket ready to catch his head. VHS steps up, grabbing the cord to release the blade, 'no respawning this time he croaks, une, deux trois and pulls the cord hard, the blade whistles down and shudders to a halt 6" from Frenchi's neck. Puzzled he resets the guillotine and tries again for the 2nd time, etiquette demands that the victim is released after the 3rd try, as he is seen to be innocent in the hands of God. Same thing, the blade whistles down and stops 3" short of Frenchis neck, now in a panic VHS resets the blade for the last time, the crowds are baying for blood. Frenchi, who to this point has been 999, glances up 'I see what the problem is' he shouts.4 points

Awesome job Markoff, very nice way to remember one of the funniest members this Family has ever had. We used to have a Map I think Rugger made that had several of our sigs on the walls. I think it was the map with the big XI in the middle but @loaderXI or @Ruggerxi can answer which map it is but it was made many years ago and has probably many sigs from some who have been around here forever and some who are gaming in Heaven. It is always nice to make a memory for a friend that will show your love for them for years to come. Bravo Dude Bravo4 points -

Izumi Intro.

Long time player, first time Intro? I'm here at the advice of my Argentinian lawyer I've been asked if I'm a fisherman (someone more proficient than me out there getting paid to reel them in named Bob Izumi apparently) and usually asked if I'm Japanese (I'm not... at least I don't think - there's an Ancestry DNA kit 5 weeks out, will let you know the results). I cycle and Izumi is the brand of shoes I use, so why not... There. Enjoy getting headshot by a guy and his smelly cycling shoes. Started playing on the XI servers with my buddy Hoth mainly looking for a CoD2 server to join. Eventually wandered into CoD4 FT1. We used to be low level network engineers working the graveyard shift and would occasionally bring our machines into work and play out of an ISP's noc pretty much... My handle on FT1 was Valkyrie at the time. After some time of FT1, jumped over to FT2 and laughed at "the mod where you can transform into a car...". Now I'd have to say its one of my favorites of any multiplayer shooter... although the teamwork on RTCW and CoD2 capture the flag will always be up towards the top. Anyway, pleasure to meet you. Cheers.2 points -

Yea I've wondered about your courts since the OJ Simpson trial ? Ours are not much different at times, where points of law are more important than the blindingly obvious. In fact the current leader of our Labour party is the guy who represented Jimmy Saville and got him off and defended the grooming gangs. I do feel that due to massive costs justice is out of reach for most people and there needs to be more fast track judgements. I also strongly feel that victims of crime need to be compensated directly out of the pockets of the criminals, more of a deterrent than jail, if say they had to pay twice the amount stolen.2 points -

A lot has changed in Chicago. At one time there was nothing that wasn't made in Chicago, from locomotive engines to knitting needles, it was an economic powerhouse. Now, it's a shadow. Take a cruise up 55 to Lake Shore Drive and it's a sea of dead factories. The only things remaining are the corruption, politicians, & gangs. The courts are not impartial, haven't been impartial for a long time, and are just publicity & revenue generators, preying on what remains.1 point -

That's exactly what I'm saying Rob, we don't have issues around our area. Cop pulls you over, it's yessir, nossir, and it generally turns into a gab session about price of corn, who's putting on a fish fry, or lunch specials. No big deal, a ticket gets written, or a warning offered & on your way. Chicagoland? whole different story. Couple of friends of mine have handed in their retirements, because they're no longer willing to risk everything they've worked for, just for doing their jobs. Courts don't have their backs, City won't back them up, and the state absolutely will throw them under the bus. All while trying to maintain some semblance of law & order. Stuck in an impossible situation, I don't blame anyone who says piss on it, do your own dirty work.1 point -
Beefed up the weapon power so will see what happens next. Let me know if anyone is in there. Should be enough power now for 1 shot kill as intended. There's also a comment about the chat icon not showing up. Looking into that... @Labob Graphic now in on the connect screen. Thanks for that.1 point

The police are constantly in a terrible situation with people like Sammy, although generally in a perfect world he's correct, the world is not perfect is it. They sometimes have milliseconds to make a decision, common sense tells you that is not always the correct decision. You either accept some mistakes are made and have law and order, or don't and have anarchy, your choice. What you do not need is the lunacy of trying soldiers and policemen for murder when doing their job. What happens ?, well either no one becomes a soldier or police officer, or they don't do their job properly. My best wishes to all our idiots who are policemen and servicemen who have not only to cope with crime and wars, but also their own country out to punish them for doing it. Barking Mad !1 point -

The Police are there to enforce the law. The Courts are there to uphold the law. The Government is SUPPOSED to uphold the constitution as the base of our law. When the top tier fails in its' duty, and the second tier turns a blind eye, you have anarchy. Never forget we live in a contract. We, as citizens, agree to obey the law.......just as long as the powers that be honor their end of the bargain. Failure of responsibilities means all bets are off.1 point -

Chances are in your favor you would not get audited. And I doubt you ever will. But there are many, many sole proprietors and or Corps that applied, and are being audited. Loans over $2,000,000 are automatically audited. And they announced they will "randomly" check them, no matter what monetary value. Yes, the loan app and forgiveness app are simple to fill out. But you have to remember, the IRS has not a damn thing to do with the SBA loan apps. and the questions. But they sure the hell can verify you were eligible. And the SBA and IRS are working together in these audits to verify these loans are legit. All over the news. You apply for PPP2 also ?1 point
-
Yes I understand how it works. 40+ years in the tax business. But do understand that the IRS said it will be "scrutinizing the hell" out of these payments. Meaning random CP2000 letters or field audits. They actually have started sending letters and auditing recipients of these PPP loans. And many recipients are having to repay them. We disclosed all this info to our clients who applied for said "loans". To make them aware they better have their "ducks in a row" Banks just "willy nilly" pass these "loans" out to get their "fees". Best to not spend it till you get it forgiven. Just saying. And even that does not mean you will not get audited.1 point

Took a trip to Huntly Meadows yesterday. My first time there. It's located in Alexandria, Virginia and is part of the Potomac River eco system. I was absolutely blown away by the variety of birds and wildlife. Definitely a new favorite wildlife refuge that I will visit often. Enough about that, here are some photos I took using my Canon EOS R6 and Canon EF 500 f/4L IS USM lens. I used a Canon 1.4x III teleconverter off and on. I have have many Canon camera bodies (and a few Nikon's) in my days. The Canon R6 is without a doubt the best camera body I have ever owned! Enjoy the photos!
