Hey guys, Venux here. Just thought I would introduce myself as I have had a blast playing on your cod4 servers over the past few years (much to the miss's dismay ). Im 28, from the UK, work as a health and safety advisor for a consultantcy (exciting work). Been great playing with yall and its a lovely community you all have got here!

Many of us use HLSW for that very reason...Master server has been crap for years and sometimes it will give you a list and sometimes not...Install it and add server ip's http://www.hlsw.org/

You'll need to patch the game. Steam released a patch which ended up stopping a lot of servers from showing. You can find the patch here: All you need to do is drop it in the main CoD4 directory where the exe is and overright the original one with this one. This will revert it to the older version. Also see if you cna turn off automatic steam updates for this game.

I agree with everybody and................ I like the bunny's, more times than not, the dumb-asses jump into my bullets, i enjoy the fun, which is #1 for me. I like the snipers, campers and all. Comes down to this, some times you feel like a nut, some times you don't. Some maps i like sniping, some run and gun, but mostly, i enjoy all the folks playing. SO many times i get the shit kicked out of me in the server, but its all in fun at the end of it all

PC’s with unsupported cpu’s will not be able to upgrade, have to install manually from iso. Will not receive Windows updates or driver updates. Microsoft has said (from testing) that unsupported pc’s had 42% more kernel crashes than supported ones. Agreed. Hoppers are sometimes harder to hit, but not that much. Aim higher and lead your target, they will run/jump right into your line of fire. It isn't that complicated. I like playing on ESC server too sometimes. The not being able to shoot if your jumping is annoying though. Sometime you won't even be hopping, jump over something then see someone and end up dying because you could not fire. Where as I do not like warzones game play. I do play Cold War from time to time. And just like our freeze tag server, I like it for the fast game play. I only wish they would ad more in to be able to camp a little easier in Cold War if you wanted. Sometimes I just like to camp and snipe, which can be difficult in the fast play format they have created with not much to protect yourself. I also wish they would bring back being able to set up your own servers to CoD. That way you can find a real group to play with verses always random players.

Respecting everyone's opinion I will give you facts. The hit box remains the same jumping and running or holding still. Is someone hopping with a good movement rate harder to hit? Slightly. (practice your aim people) Does it make them immune to bullets. NO. Can they catch you by surprise more often. Yes. Try the ESC server sometime. It draws your gun up when you jump which is an option on the server. Its a snooze fest in my opinion. Nice people but not nearly as action packed as our servers. People cry when you hop over a rock there. Some people prefer that. Not I. We are an older crowd mostly but this game still moves slow compared to many others out there. Play our cod2 servers or COD Warzone sometime. It makes our cod4 servers seem in slow motion. It will give you perspective.

It really comes down to someones play style. You say that a lot of people are bunny hopping and it ruins the fun. The same can be said for sitting in the corner with an LMG and spamming the ever loving crap out of walls. That is your playstyle. Some like to run around like lunatics and jump around with rockets up their ass; that's their playstyle. Yes different playstyles are annoying, some more than others, but there's no rule against it. That is just how they play the game. Just because it's different doesn't mean its wrong. We had a similar thread up some time ago if I remember correctly riddled with complaints about LMG's and wall-spammers. They're still in the game and those people still play. You just gotta live with it. If it does get too much then of course, there is the no-bunny hopping server. Just get a sohtgun to their face, can't miss from that range

...when you hide all the way in the back of your spawn & complain about how people get to you that have to run all the way across the map to play the game with you...
