Can the mod that Sammy worked on be put back up for awhile? When the old mod was put back on there was talk about switching them back and forth every 6 months or so. There was some great features like the rocket gun, trophy system, two emp mines, and way better care packages. Not to mention the perk that let people steal your care packages from off you. At the time most things were done in the mod especially the standard stuff. However being a beta4 instead of a beta9 there was still much work to do either to continue to adjust new things... too good or not good enough etc... or to continue others that were in the works but not yet ready for prime time, as it were. The addition of stealing streaks, it was the first time I had seen something like that so a prime candidate for more gameplay to see what worked... for everybody including happy thieves and unhappy victims... and what did not. Had a couple things in mind to try to see how they worked and the differences, if any. In any case, there should be an understanding that there is a difference between stability and added difficulty. 1_47 by design was made to be harder on multiple levels... because nearly everybody here has mastered the 146 mod as rote... and much more chaotic and unpredictable. From the basics to the complex. By definition it makes things less relaxing for some, whereas it makes things a welcome challenge for others, and is a double edged sword. But in the end, the way to do things is to provide an unsupported and open mod to everyone... as all the others do... and then everybody makes the choice whether or not they want the rote and predictable or the new and unpredictable. Like Pac-Man I suppose. Do you prefer to play it knowing the maze patterns that lets you win every time down to the second? Or would you prefer it where ghost behavior was made a little more random and the repeating pattern has less value? Pretty sure there is a cabinet dip switch accessible in MAME for it. I knew the pattern back in the day very well. But after awhile it got boring. Though it did save me a lot of quarters.

Thanks for the Appeal, unfortunately, our record shows several admins saw you going outside the map, strafe jumping, and discussing with the administrators about the warnings and decisions taken at that time. With the several infractions, you had and all this happened in less than 2 months you were playing on our servers, I must say it is not there any chance to review this in my opinion.

I stopped playing because I did not enjoy that mod at all. I 100% prefer the current mod we have.

Prefer the current mod. More simple and natural. Don't like the trophy system and the stealing of your kill streaks packages. I understand that some players would like to get it back, though. One solution could be to put it on another server and see which one would be the more successful. The downside of this is that it could also empty both of them, splitting the CoD 4 FT gamers' community in two...

I had heard Putzer had moved out here to hook up with Thunkgun one of our first back stabbing traitors and a rumor she was playing on our servers now and then. She seemed like a nice lady who was lonely back then. Merc always thought you were a hack lol and the same went for anyone who beat him any time let along on a regular basis. He about crapped his pants the few times I beat his score with my old PC. He also thought @Crack and @pitbullpete and @Dirk Diggler were hacks as well. I had to explain to him about the ping difference and that he didn't always have to win or would win and to do so would kill the server. We talked @Ruggerxi in to running a COD2 server clone from the West Coast for us to get low ping and we crushed people but the server didn't get enough play to keep but it proved that us old West Coast Evening Players could play with the best. I also remember winning a 3 on 3 tourney and got a hat or shirt but the details are very fuzzy but I was on a really good team as I remember and I used every tripwire I could to help as best as I could. Any time I hear SRV play one of those hallmark 'Texas Flood' riffs it immediately reminds me of Mr. King. Can't think of a performance or many songs where a riff -& frequently a hook- doesn't remind me in some aspect of Albert King's influence. Watching them hand it off to each other, Mr. King's proud reaction to SRV's novel take on a familiar riff with his endless supply of tasty licks, or entire bar is so cool to see. Normally known as gruff & retiring, he can't contain his pride at SRV's then-apparent nascent ascendancy & these two's history in cultivating it. Well, It's finally happened, I moved out of New Orleans. I now live in Bourbonnais, Illinois, about an hour below Chicago. It's cold here. My only regret is that the box my XI elephant was in was forgotten in the move... it also had my gold lighter and my parents ashtray from the 1960's. Hi all. The MW2 146 beta3 server updated to beta 4. Everyone please check it out. Same server address. First main differences people will notice is the return of claymores and stun grenades. Betties and EMP are still available options. Please test out both. Also try the UAV defroster. There are other differences from beta 3 but I dont remember them all.
