Rebuilding a clutch, got three of the rusty 10-32 Allen heads to break loose, but I accidentally rounded the last one using a cheater bar. "Sigh", now I'm screwed, it's in a recess, no way to get tools to it, and it's surrounded by a crimped flange that can't be removed. Dropped a thin center punch down the hole, and hand held it on the drill press while I put an 1/8" pilot hole through. Straight through, without touching the threads......that's how it's supposed to work, but it rarely happens. Everyone in our production department rolled their eyes & told me to buy a lottery ticket.

Years ago I started adding home automation to my house, for lighting I wen with the Insteon lighting control system. It worked perfect for years, we could travel and I could program my house for random lighting that made it appear that we were home by never having a sequence that didn’t look programmed. I had scenes programmed for entertaining that set all the interior and exterior lighting up that gave a nice ambiance. Well Thursday my hub controller went off line but still showed active but still leaving me with no control over my lights. I spent time during the weekend going through every aspect of what the problem could be with no resolve of the issue. last night it finally came out. Insteon has disappeared from the market and shut down all there servers and controls leaving all of us that used there equipment high and dry and no way to use our investment in equipment. It wasn’t cheap even though I did the whole install my self. It’s a eye opener when you really think of it. We add companies web based and cloud based systems to our lives with no guarantee that they will be around tomorrow. I hate how everything has gone to company owned and controlled systems that we have to depend on them operating all the time to use what we have already purchased and installed. This also goes for a lot of the apps and programs we use that we use to be able to buy but now have to have a subscription to use. Not real sure we are heading in a good direction with our technology.

I can't say yes or no right now due to to other trips sheduled and work but even it's a last minute thing i'll be there and find a motel nearby.No problem.

is that per night? i might be going by myself this time if my hubby lets me and can meet the $ quote. if not i might stay at a nearby hotel which will most likely cheaper and would need a ride to n from both places. Money will be tight/hard for me.

sheesssss don't tell my secret TLCB 1/16th thats how do it when i get twisted off bolts / screws and yes you only 1 chance hitting dead center and use a left hand drill bit after pilot hole done. eg broken 1/4-20 use 3/16 bit if enough material can dress the end flat and try again patience is the best tool when getting those out tip: allen cap knock head dead on top to release tenson and make the hex tighter

There a lot of people that say the insteon system works with a Home assistant, Open Hab or Home bridge plugin with some tweaks in local mode do some research. I use a Lutron system personally at my house

There is a 95 grain round for the 9mm, but you will pretty much find that 115gr is the cheapest. Sometimes you can find some decent deals on steel case 9mm ammo, but that is becoming more and more scarce. You can sometimes find deals on websites like ammoseek.com or armslist.com. I use ammoseek.com. It's probably the best site for finding ammo. There is also globalordinance.com. Sometimes they offer free shipping on ammo. Mags are sometimes on sale there too. Good luck.
