I come to you from the desk and computer of my very best friend!
 
Please forgive me for taking so long to come here and talk to you guys, this last month has been one the hardest I myself have had in 20 years. Boomer was more of a brother than a friend. He told me oneday, he said well since you can't talk if you could shave your legs you'd make the perfect wife! And then he laughed so hard I thought he was gonna puke! Yeah he got the finger!
I made a post in the intro section a few minutes ago, so just call me Rad. I have a story to share with you, if you have a little time?
Out of respect for who and what he was I will only use his gaming name(s) lmao! Sparky, Playful1, Hateful1, Chipmunk & Boomer,
Boomer and I go back well over 20 years. He actually saved my life one day so if you ever want to hear about it let me know
and I'll share our story with you.
 
Over the last couple of years (almost) Boomer has taught me how to map and he left me with one more map for you guys, he said Bobby had to much to screw with? so he didn't give it to him along with everything else he had made.
Boomer almost finished it except the last building and a little terrain work, which I will complete it for him and dedicate it to his
memory! I haven't touched it until today and that is what has sent me here to you.Give me a couple of weeks now that things are turning back to normal I guess you could say.
 
His wife and daughter are doing pretty good all things considered, they have moved from where Boomer died to their country
house. I'm not sure what all you guys know about him, but he was an outstanding fellow!
Also whoever sent the DogWood Tree, THANKS! It freaked his wife slap out to see who it was from and how did they know where to send it? I wonder myself, he was a real private kind of guy. She hated his gaming life but was thankful you guys loved him enough to do such a wonderful thing. It arrived a few days ago and I will plant it in my new (his) front yard.
 
I see what you guys did in your memorial WOW, no wonder he loved ya'll so much. It took me an hour just to stop crying again.
The Map Boomer was making was for Pink, it was one of several she had named while talking with Boomer oneday that couldn't be played on one of your servers.................... ah there it is the MW2 server. He thought highly about a bunch of you guys!
It was Beltot he was working on.
 
Ok well things could take time for me to learn how to navigate through new forums like this so let me say this openly;
 
Dadda, Boomer loved you as much as anyone could love anyone over the internet. He said you were one of his best friends here and these are his words............. You Wanker, we'll meet again, but until then keep kicking those fooking hackers! sorry guys those were his words.

i guess thinking on it awhile what if we were to.... switch the dm server to ctf with our original mod back when it was so popular... 1.6.... and switch the tdm/ctf server to tdm/dm with all your extras... just a thought...

Maybe the reason the COD 2 DM server has such little traffic is because you guys spend so much time here in the forums wining about shit.

I have read what is written in this post and the one thing that is for sure is that we must maintain a fun friendly
atmosphere and I believe that is Crowe,s point he is trying to make...With that being said every member has a
certain level in game of policing and seeing that the servers are friendly and fun and hacker free...
 
May I suggest to everyone in the future respond to the player with a simple can we cool it down or go off
subject and just have some fun...Its that simple
 
If that don,t work you may also send them a PM explaining your thoughts and that we ALL play for fun and in some
maybe most cases come into servers to leave the troubles of the world behind if only for a few rounds
outside of that PM a Admin with names there is no need to bring it to clan forums or open

Look, all I am saying is that it happened. It really doesn't matter if it happened once or everyday. I am very disappointed in the people that were doing the talking, as I would be of anyone who takes that extremely ignorant viewpoint and spews it in a somewhat public place. What happened last night was not an occasional political statement or joke. It was a completely ignorant set of statements made by several players. IMO, everyone is entitled to their opinion regardless of whether or not it is based on fact. I know how to change the channel, I know how to mute people and I am definitely not sensitive. I said very little at the time, all I said was, why are we talking about politics?
 
All I was doing here was pointing out something and taking the route that I thought I was supposed to take.

Ya, you can't hear me say "No Fucking Way" if you're talking about all that other jiberish!! At least NFW is game related!! LOL!
