  1. Thanks so much!!  I'm an avid "food as medicine" person and have eliminated so much from my diet, eating only whole foods and clean pastured proteins and wild fish (non mercury that is).  Had no idea about seeds and will actively be filling me awareness.....a big help to me my friend....many thanks!  So glad you're here with us 🙂

  2. He's been a reliable source of intelligent, data-backed, non-political, no b.s. info for me for two years.  I have often done my own validation of sources he cites and he's one of the very few I trust.  There are others too, and it always helps for those of us in North America, particularly in the states, to seek information from other parts of the globe.  The U.S. is in a bubble of ignorance thanks to the "meidia", who are dumber than paint chips.

  3. There is documented, scientific proof of COVID-19 in Barcelona, Spain in March 2019.  Most major cities store samples of their wastewater and Barcelona found it in their wastewater as far back as then.  There are scientific papers under peer review by the major scientific journals.  This was presented by the University of Barcelona.  The info is readily available to find......it will be many years before we have an understanding of true origins, pathways, and impacts this manufactured virus has had.

So very sorry for your loss.

Pawleys Island, SC.  Famous Grey Man, actually, there are loads of ghost stories and legends from South Carolina and North Carolina as well.  But Pawleys Island, yep, has haunts.  Thing is, not scary, not creepy at all, so I feel as though the ghosts are harmless and as the legend of the grey man goes, trying to be helpful.  https://www.pawleysisland.com/blog/haunted-pawleys-island/

    :hi:

Cool Basil - I thought so....lots of Grayman stories around here 🙂

  5. I was doing an investigation of an old city jail in and old Southern US City that had been in operation from the 1600's to the 1930's.  About 20 or so of us in a group and during a break, a fully open, MASSIVE iron gate closed before my eyes.  At first I thought someone in our group closed it but nobody was there but me.  I examined the gate thoroughly and it would NOT move freely.  In fact it required significant effort as it was about 4' x 8' or larger, made of 2" wide horizontal and vertical bars in addition the the heavy iron frame.  I accept that some force acted upon it that my eyes could not see.  I even look for wires, cables or string that may have pulled it closed, but found nothing.  Only a steel cable would have been strong enough to handle the sheer weight of the gate.

It was an exhilarating experience - not scary but fascinating!

Yes, my friend and I were walking on the beach and heard laughing and talking (we were searching for our older siblings who went out for a walk with some of their friends.)  We had a flashlight, it was a rather dark night, but not windy.  PLEASE NOTE that the island where we vacationed every year is famous for ghost sightings and stories.  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Gray_Man_(ghost)  We knew the island and the dunes and beach very well, knew our way around.  We simply wanted to join their party... OK so, walking along the sandy trail, we said hey I hear them, yes there they are, they are ahead of us towards the beach.  So, we went up the last dune and my friend had her flashlight down on the sand and we saw 4 people just standing there about say 20 feet from the water at the beach.  We kept calling out to them, and they did not respond or even act like they heard us, actually, the talking and laughing we had heard while walking up to the beach just stopped.  I asked my friend to shine the flashlight to their faces, maybe this isn't them, cause that was bizarre them not even responding to us.  When the flashlight got to their faces, they ALL DISAPPEARED.  She said, Oh My GOD!  NO ONE IS THERE!!!  We looked at each other, screamed, and ran back to my house.  Turns out our siblings and friends weren't even on the beach, they had gone to the local pinball arcade at the pier (which a hurricane destroyed some time later.)  To this day we still have no idea what we saw, we call it ghosts, no one else on that side of the island was out and about.  And they disappeared in front of us, one second there, the next poof gone.   So yes, I have seen it.  Sure would like a scientific explanation for all the weirdness out there.    :detective:

Which Island Basil?  I live in the Lowcountry 🙂  I'll go out there and do some ghost hunting!

I helped a friend build a few API 500 series preamps.  He was chasing a better sound (never ending).  Funny thing is the preamps on his old Soundcraft mixer sounded just as good.   And we all dont have 200k laying around for a descent Neve.   I need to build an amp box.  A small isolation box opens up alot of tone possibilities !!   But I also have no issue cranking amps up to 11 in my studio.  Im in the country and have no one close to complain.  Plus I soundproofed the building really well.  But a small isolation box opens up alot of tone possibilities !!  Fun stuff.

It IS fun - the tone quest....I just got a new amp plugin/standalone computer-based amp, Neural DSP.....very odd to play through a computer, but the tones and technology are real.  Used by some truly remarkable artists I know and I've decided to try it out - I'm blown away!!

  8. Hiya A1rbud!  Nice to see you here and it's always a blast to see you in game.  Love your sense of humor (you've had me bustin' up), and prefer it when we're on the same side otherwise you kick my arse! You're a great player 🙂  What kinds of old movies do you like?

    Cheers!

I love playing, been off and on playing for 28 years, more on in the last 6 years than off. I mostly do covers of my favorite band Monster Truck, nothing hard, just good driven riff rock, I got a few vids up on my youtube if ya wanna check em https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCZa6Uj4lC5mrwH8JBPJquVQ

I have been pretty lucky, have gotten to know my favorite band on a personal level, they even hauled me up onstage from the front row unknowingly to me to play a song with them a few years back, blew my mind! Currently own a '72 Gibson Deluxe (used by lead guitarist of Monster Truck to record 90% of their first album) a 2011 '61 reissue in TV Yellow (Only 100 were made that year/color sold exclusively in Canada, she is a rare one, also, lead guitarist of Monster Truck has one LOL) a 2018 Les Paul Special in TV Yellow (yes i love TV Yellow) and a dark green '92 Gibson Special

My guitars far outshine my abilities LOL

That's really cool Storm - you have good tone and love what your doing to sit in the pocket of those MT songs....good job!  It's a special thing to know you r favorite artists personally and even acquire some of their gear....I dig that SG, but unfortunately I don't find them comfortable to play.  Keep on enjoying your music, guitars and keep playing man!!  🙂

    Nice song D  :guitar:

I'm a tone freak and very particular about mine....don't see it coming through very well on a team speak channel but it's a nice idea....or everyone can download Reaper, free for 90 days +(I had mine for over 250 days before I paid the $60) ..it's a great DAW(digital audio workstation) ,No it's not Studio One but very good with updates all the time and easy to use once you get used to it....oh yeah and buy an audio interface...may I suggest a Scarlett Focusrite. Then you can record through your computer, make a wav file and send it to someone else, they put it in their DAW under the project name...add your part and send it along as a wav file to someone else...etc...then you have a song and can ,later, when it's completed, mix it down and viola !! song by many contributors  :guitar:

Thanks Street!!  Tone is every bit as important as quality playing.....I get a good signal direct out of my audio interface because of the loopback feature. Cheers!

There are more musicians here than expected.  Im always looking for someone to collaborate with.  You have a home studio ?  Or was video taken elsewhere  ?  I see a Kemper in the background and a Carvin.

Hey Mike - Yes I have a studio.  I believe this is the third one I've had and by far my best one yet.  Gonna do some upgrades this year such as an Isolation room for my speaker cabinets, and a new console that controls my DAW perhaps, or a new studio desk.  Probably add a new guitar, drums and add a 5-string bass.....and more mics and preamps.....focusing on quality instead of quantity.  🙂
