NuTzOpaNts reacted to PHUCKITMAN in Rest in Peace Starfire>XI<
I am so sorry that Starfire won't be gaming with us anymore, he was a really fun guy and proud to be a member of >XI< and tried so hard even as his skills began to fail him. The last thing I remember him saying to me was "Where are they Phuck? I can't see any of them" on a big sniper map and because the wife was sleeping 5 feet away from me since I play in the Master Bedroom I wasn't able to give him any intel. But it was becoming clear he was starting to really have some issues but wouldn't give up his weekends with the Gang. I am glad he is no longer suffering and is now in Heaven hanging out with some of the finest gamers and human beings to ever walk this planet. Our Fallen members list reads like a who's who of great folks who loved Gaming a ton and >XI< even more. RIP My Friend you will be missed more than you will ever know. My Love and Prayers go out to his Wife and Family and everyone who considered Starfire a Friend

Sorry to hear that...Sometimes it takes days to manifest the results of a auto accident so it is much better to take it easy for a good spell...Your bodies to a jolt which will cause a ton of non visible problems...Rest well but move about because stiffness is hidden in there as well
Hope you all get well fast

Best to rest up! If you overdo it, I think you can delay recovery from the concussion, if memory serves.

Thanks everyone, it was a very scary thing that happened. Was pretty shaken up. Im off for the week from.work so I can heal up. Lol i did try to go in on Monday but I only made it 3 hours and I couldn't do anymore.
Our neighbour was even kind enough to invite us to thier family's Thanksgiving dinner. And she said if we weren't feeling it they would bring us food. We are lucky to have such wonderful people surrounding us.

Checking specs & comparability is half the fun of building your own rig. Scope out everything before you press the order button. Cya in game Spongey!

Yep, I fucked up on both the cooler and processor. The cooler is too big for my mid tower and the processor is the right socket but wrong board. Sent the cooler back (Thanks Amazom!) and ordered a new MSI board that will handle the Intel i9-9900K.

Hi everyone, it's been about seven years since my last gaming rig build. It's time for some serious upgrades to keep up with todays power hungry games. See you in the fields bitches!😁

NuTzOpaNts reacted to Sammy in Rents are fucking high.
Well where would you recommend a location with 3 acres that is neither democrat nor republican? I can think of no better place than one where I don’t have to deal with either. 😜

Where ever you go, stay out of Dem ran cities !!! 🤣 Im serious. You need to move to rural USA. Buy a place with at least 3 acres (to plant shit). You will need to grow your own food soon. Or better, one with a stocked pond to fish, woods to hunt and land to have a descent garden. And as far as medical services, hell our small town has a hospital and many medical professionals. Plus country living is good for the body !!! Yee Haw !!!

Real estate has been, and always will be local..however, some of the reasons for that may be changing. Prices usually went up and remained stable in places that had good paying job opportunities. The pandemic changed much of that with a big shift to “work from home”: Many companies are never going back to the office. This means people with high paying jobs in tech can go live in Omaha Nebraska, rather than in overpriced Seattle/SF etc. These dynamics are going to result in some variations in the real estate market we have never before seen.

You have heard Rob say quite often in these forums to be wary, that money does not exist, well more people are latching on to this. Here is a British Archaeologist you probably have seen in documentaries saying the same thing, watch it it's both interesting and frightening. The pundits and gurus in these forums, experts all, forget this fundamental fact, money is imagined, you can have all the bulls and bears you want, supplemented by graphs and forecasts, but the fact remains :-
There is no such thing as money, it is imagined and can be printed anywhere, unless you have belief in it, it is worthless, unlike a property, cow or pig, something real you can touch and trade.
Tread carefully idiots, especially those borrowing
Now is the time to take back control of money, by so doing, we can begin regaining control of our world, says Neil Oliver (gbnews.uk)

NuTzOpaNts got a reaction from major-mark63 in Getting connected to the world grid soon..
Funny joke, but there are faster more better sites still free in 2022.
<edit> well if you have 9 seconds to spare here and there I mean. Inflation.
(H)how about those Yankees though? I think they're going to go all the way this year.
I have no clue what major-mark63 does between kicking names and taking buns. I've always assumed something classified. I just don't go there...

The market here in Ohio is still overvalued. People who bought in the last 2 years will never get back what they paid for their property. And this is a trend throughout the US. Sammy, realistically now is the time to sale and hold off on purchasing another property until the market drops. Then the profit on your condo will go farther. And the market is going to drop. I think within the next year. But.... I see your point on rent being so high. That alone would eat away at your profits till the market drops and your money goes farther. My wife and I own two properties, so I could sale one taking advantage of todays prices and move into the other. But there is sentimental value in our properties. Moving to a "lower cost of living" state is a viable option. Your proceeds from the sale of your California property will go a hell of a long way in other states. Let alone the savings on everyday items. Not sure what the value of your property is, but in our small country area for example. $389,000 will get you a 4 or 5 bedroom newer home with several acres. And thats in todays market prices. Good luck on deciding. Its a big deal.

Particular area eh? Have you thought about Canada or the US?
Depending on the area I may have minute pieces of advice.
If I were you though, which I'm clearly not, I mean look at you, you ROCK!
I'd go where I want to go. It'll make your work harder, your love stronger, and apply a healthy sense of worth to you, which I'm sure you don't need, but deserve.
