As most know my dad is a VERY FRAIL 90 and has been hanging on to life with both hands. I CHERISH every moment with him. Yesterday I made him his favourite peanut brittle. When he got home from dialysis he FaceTimed me. As weak as he was he had the biggest smile and couldn’t say enough about how he enjoyed my peanut brittle. I’m trying to live everyday like it might be our last together, sad really.

I would like to discuss something that has been making the game shitty for a while now. The worst fucking players in the world... 
Don't get me wrong, you don't have to be good at this game to play in my opinion. There are a few players, I won't name, that absolutely suck, BUT they talk to us. Maybe you have some issues and try and talk with us - that's great. You can go 0 - 1 - and 20 and that is fine. At least you can shoot the shit with us. Maybe one day most of us will be so old we can't even move the mouse correctly anymore - at least we can still get on the mic and talk shit then.
However, a few I will name; RJ-11, frank (who keeps changing his name), and a couple of others. They come in and go 0 - 2 - 26 and don't even talk with us. They never acknowledge hearing anything. What the fuck are they doing? Especially RJ, he has been playing with us for a while now. Why won't he even talk to us? 
Talk to us or play or whatever. We want to make the play experience better for new players and we will even try to help you. But a few of these fuckers... I'm not even sure why they play? What do you get out of playing that bad and never talking to anyone?
I really don't like stacking teams, but having one of these people on your team is a frustrating experience. If any of them ever read this - why are you even playing with us?

In a team you need attackers, defenders,, defroster and Intel givers.
There is room for everyone on our servers 

First off FU @Ruthless 🤣😁😎 (trust me he is not offended).....
Anyone that knows me, knows that I am here for fun.  I don't care what map we are on, who is on my team, or even what my score is (that's pretty obvious).   I have never, and will never request a map skip....simply because I don't care what map is being played.
There are so many servers out there to play on.  Many choices.....
What brought me here is the people.   I love the witty banter and camaraderie that comes with a little friendly competition and playing with people of like mind.   
There are times when I get in game and never say a word.  There are other times when people probably mute me.  🤣😎
I do wish that the people that don't join in on the banter, would do so. It is a team competition after all, and someone that rolls 'solo' basically isn't doing anything to help the team.  Plus it adds an additional level of fun to the disorganized chaos!

Unless I am mistaken, removing a map from someone elses rotation isnt done unless there is something actually wrong with it. Meaning buggy or glitchy. Not because some other players dont like it and make a fuss until they get appeased. Peace in our time. Rejoice.
The answer has always been that if you dont like it, make your own rotation and submit it. But perhaps times have changed and "dont like it, dont play it" has today become "dont like it, ensure nobody can play it".
Perhaps every potential rotation should first be posted in an open forum thread. Then debate and take a vote whether or not to add it, or alter it. Then there will be no need to hold in-game skip votes and it can be shut off, so to speak.  That should be fun.😛

We are different on Freeze Tag #1.
We do not have a voting system in place.
If a single XI member requests to play the map we will.
So, you could have ten non-XI  saying skip the map and only 1 XI member saying play it, we'll play it.

Because if I am on a team I can vote right? Or does it have to be a x amount of time that I am on the team? Nothing has been said about that.
All I am asking about is what makes a vote a vote. Admins ask for a yes or no. We get 9 yes to skip a map and 0 no to skip a map, in a 18/19 playerbase map with about 8 frustrated spectators. Yet, the map does not get skipped. 
@Totty Please do not talk to me like I am a new kiddo. I've been here for multiple years, and you just came in a few months ago. I know more about this clan and servers than you.
 
@PnBear I played the entire round before it, asked for the vote. I voted in spec, indeed. Had to be in a team, so I joined a team and voted. So why does that not count then? Please elaborate. Sounds like XI got their rules mixed up. I did exactly what your fellow admin/mod @Totty said to do, which was to join a team and cast my vote.
 
Also it is kind of suiting how the 'admin/mod' people are reacting to a sincere question about how things work in these servers. Love it

So today we were playing one of the worst maps ever, random spawns, bad rendering etc. etc. There were 19 players playing whilst the complaining started so we asked for a vote. @iBrock completely ignored all of us, we called our own vote (9 voted to skip, 0 to not skip) and eventually left the server after we spent minutes trying to get his attention and he kept on playing, so he was not afk. Great adminning 👍!  Then @PnBear came in and called a vote. Yes or No to skip. 8 votes for yes, 0 for not to skip, with the same amount of active players and around 8 people in spectator. 
So what are the requirements for a vote to be passed or not? I personally think the rule of 'being in a team to be able to vote' is pure horsecrap, since someone dislikes the map so bad, they go to spectator. If there are numerous of YES votes and 0 NO votes, and the map still does not get skipped, then why even ask the 'yes or no' question? We all know there are a bunch of players who don't use their mics and/or don't type in game (frequently).
Call me stupid but if I play a match and I score 9 goals, whilst the opponent scores 0, I think I have won, as it should be with the voting thingy. In the end, a bunch of players stayed spectating while a decent amount left the server cause we all (except the 0 no votes) wanted to change map but the vote got ignored the first time, and denied the second time. "GREAT" way to handle that.
