Took this with cell phone while camera was busy with time lapse.

This is one of those pics where I wish I would have snapped more than one.... it's motion blurry but would have been great if it was sharp. Or maybe I should just carry a tripod with me everywhere, lol.

I was in Sacramento for the day and I decided to go down to the river to mess around with my camera...
I don't really know anything about taking nature shots... so I figured I'd experiment.

Went to Yosemite again...
It was 100F in the sun and we hiked 16 miles up 4,500' elevation change. It was intense.
I think because of the heat, it was VERY hazy. Most of the pics didn't turn out but Here are some cool shots.
This is right out of our campsite. On a whim I threw the tripod on the picnic table and nabbed a few 30 second shots. If I had known it was going to be so awesome I'd have done a time-lapse.
On the hike there were lizards all along the rocky parts of the trail. This is one of the bigger ones. I think it was about 9" long.

Oh, I don't disagree. Those things are pretty awesome. I'm just saying LIDAR detectors do exist. I can't attest to how effective they actually are though.
