  1. Welcome dlux ... f me, they are letting all the riffraff in these days.

Fed for sure. ... but welcome anyway.
  3. Welcome Fireman. Love playing with ya on the FT.
  4. Live in the present, but ignore the past and future to your own peril.
  5. Coinbase to buy in. (You can also take some of the 'courses' there that give you free crypto to take them ... it all adds up.) Then Exodus wallet to store off-line. If you use Brave browser you can also collect BAT by allowing ads. I get about $100 a year in BAT without doing much of anything other than clearing a few ads now and then.
  6. I've done most everything on the fuel system except the lines and the reservoir. Once the front tank is good and working well then I'll tackle the rear tank.
  7. lol ... Ordered a new tank today. $225 CDN coming up from Chicago. Cleaning and epoxy would have been around $200 ... so the decision was easy.
  8. Ya. This tank is not leaking and seems solid even around where the sending unit mounts. I'll let the professionals tell me if I should repair or replaced. We don't have Rockauto up here in Canada although we can get their stuff shipped to the border and pick it up. (I can't cross the border, but there are locals offering this service now.) I think a replacement tank is around $300. Typically repair should be cheaper and I prefer the metal tank over a replacement plastic one. Will be pricing stuff out today. @TexasThat looks like a nice build you did! I don't intend this truck to be anything other than a hunting/fishing/zombie killer. I just want to be able to rely on it. The 460 with a 5 speed was not a common option, so it's worth putting in the time and effort to get it running.
  9. Still working on the fuel system. Dropped the front tank this weekend ... whew. What a mess. The sending unit was half gone ... the pump intermitant and the float mostly disintegrated. Will take to a rad shop to try cleaning. If that is a no go, then it's a new tank.
  10. Bammmmm woman! Welcome to the clan. Glad to finally see you here.
  11. I'm double safe ... I don't have FB and I will never put up a Ukrainian flag. Also ... If your picture extension is .exe or .bat it is perfectly safe to download and put up on your FB page. [PSA]
  12. Welcome to the merry band of idiots!
  13. Talk about a company that does not understand it's customers/users ... sheesh.
  14. Or as people in privacy call it, 'a built in Man-in-the-middle.'
  15. Brave Search is the best of the search engines right now. They are private (don't track you), and don't F with the results. DuckDuckGo just announced they are pushing agendas and Google search 100% propaganda 100% of the time. Brave even indexed some of Bitchute which is great.
  16. Are you new to earth? Gas prices go up when politicians cancel pipelines. Gas prices go up when politicians play the game of war. Gas prices go up every time politicians regulate the energy sector. Prove me wrong.

    hello all

Axe ... but most remember me as Yoshi.
  18. Ya. You guys are right. Those plugs must have come from Canadian Tire here in Canada. They are still some sort of shot though. @Timmah! I also owned a 68 Fairlane with a 289 engine. (4 door.) It broke in half one day when I was driving it down the 401 in Toronto. I stomped on the breaks and the frame broke behind the engine and the whole front end dove down. lol. Fun car though. I've been through my share of old cars and resbuilds. 69 Dodge Dart, 72 Chev Nova, a 67 and a 68 Mustang ... I think that is it for oldies. Then a bunch of mid 80's cars which all sucked to repair. I quit doing my own rebuilds and repairs when I got my 1st Honda ... opened the hood, didn't recognize a thing ... closed the hood and called my repair days over. lol. But yes, we are back to figuring shit out. I figure I know more about the fuel supply system in this truck than the average mechanic. Oh and this fuel system is stupid and unnecessarily complicated. Thanks Ford.
  19. I'll show a video of the fuel supply problem next ... once I fix it. lol. (Still not 100% positive what is causing the problem ... but I'm gonna throw a few parts at it as they all need replacing to be reliable at this point anyway.)
  20. lol. Those plugs are completely burnt away. The base electrode has lost about 16th of an inch and the top arm is about half the original thickness. This makes for really weak inconsistent spark which in turn causes incomplete combustion and carbon deposits. The gap on these was more than 4x spec (.044). Other than the fuel and carbon deposits, these are typical for a motor not run for 8 yrs followed by repeated turning over without actually starting. There is no oil deposit on those plugs, nor is there any blue smoke or blowby. Just carbon. @MtDeW Find any other engine with OG 1989 plugs and you'll see the same. Pick your brand. lol. And ya ... these are from a 460 (7.5L) gasser. It's a man size engine. You wouldn't know anything about that Crunch.
  21. This is what bad spark plugs look like. I suspect these might even be the original 1989 ones ... Now the engine stays running properly which has allowed me to diagnose a fuel supply problem as well. It's a project ....

    hello all

Hey Spoon ... welcome to the forums! Really enjoy playing with you, even when you kill me ... repeatedly. lol.
  23. For me, I've operated with the mantra 'your house, your rules' for 18 months now. If I didn't like the rules, I took my service skills and/or money elsewhere. At first the options were limited, but as the underground economy grew and boomed outside of the mainstream BS, all the regular options came available for us again. The most satisfying thing has been the sprouting up of underground dining rooms, churches and other such gatherings. Locally we have a private movie theater which seats 45 people and has double shows on Friday nights. We even have a private minor hockey league here in MB and is thriving with 15 or so teams. Our church has about 120 members and meets in a machine shop north of town here. Many of these will carry on even after the local mandates are finally lifted (if ever here in Canada.) Mandates still prevent about 60% of the people in my local area from travelling anywhere by plane, train or bus. And our Supreme Leader shows no signs of following the science that everyone else both here and around the world is following. So more civil disobedience is required ... and in the works.
