In the heat of battle I have probably put my hand on hYst3r1a's package and not even noticed ....

Rugger said on the last page that the fixes are in place but the car is still way slow...it also won't jump and not sure if it climbs, haven't tried yet. That was the best part of it because you could bring your team back by defrosting many with it due to the speed. If it is slow, can't jump or climb it's a wasted perk that nobody will ever use.
 
Everything else seems to be working great though...great job Sammy and Rugger!

Ok The Mummmbl3s story. Worked at Sony Music International as a consultant back in oh...1996, I think. I was in charge of all the PC techs - supervisor. We had these wonderful walkie-talkies and the boss would keep in touch with us via those 'lil boxes. Anyways, the boss loved to yell and curse the SHIT ouf of us on a regular basis. Someone would call him, yell, then he'd redirect. So, me being the supervisor, I'd be called in all the time to explain things. He'd call me into his office, start in loud and foul, and I'd kinda mummble back something...and he'd say, "SPEAK UP, stop MUMMBLING!" Eventually, he'd just call me in via the walkie talkie: " GET IN HERE MUMMBLES!"
 
So...me, the MAC supervisor, and the Sony Studio B (the place where Michael Jackson did a lot of his later recordings) tech. guy played DOOM 3D on the network together. Since I wasn't an employee, I was directed to a huge pile of discarded computers. So, I put together a really crappy, but heavily modified computer from various parts...extra hard drives, extra memory, video card, etc. I had the absolutely worst machine of the three of us. Still, I was able to kick ass. DOOM was our only diversion from the craziness. So...we all had to have names...forgot what the other guys called themselves, but my name was OBVIOUS: MUMMBLES. I modified it to Mummmbles to give it that extra mummm effect. It stuck...too well. Mummmbles became my online personna. I ended up being a clan leader of some Quake II Jailbreak and QIII Jailbreak clans, had lots of LAN parties that we called MLAN - http://www.theseltzers.com/larry/LANPARTY/ - and eventually, I changed the E to a 3 ya know..ta make it...hAcKeR-ish...eh, whatever. I had a www.mummmbles.com for a while, but gave it up. People ended up calling me 'Mummm' in person. EVERYONE cracks the mummble jokes. What can I say? If you had that guy screamin' at you, you'd mummble too. Then, of course, he'd say, "Stop mummbling! ANSWER ME!" Was funny after a while. Offered me a job at least 3 times. Kinda glad I turned him down 'cause I went on to a significantly better job that lasted almost 7 years. Ahhh..memories!
 
My original online name was Figaro 'cause I was studying opera for several years - legit baritone. Yeah...there's like 5 or 6 lives in me...LONG story...

It appears that the NCAA forgot to have the Oklahoma Sooners in the bracket again this year,weird..

I've been working on FF for the streaks to make sure the main settings for turning it on/off works for it also. A few didnt work right. Except for a few cases there is no special setting for streaks. That can be changed if desired but then it would defeat the whole point of friendly fire. As for artillery, you can see it coming so if FF is on then do like Sir Robin and bravely run away. For the car, it may not be all that much help but EMP nades will now kill the electronics so it is dead. The player then respawns. The RC itself remains and starts a 20 second fuse then explodes unless its shot first.
 
After various changes the nuke in freezetag will win the game for the team that drops it. It will still kill everybody but the owner is the last on the list. So in effect he is the last man standing.

I'd rather have the friendly fire option removed as a whole than the killstreaks, that's part of the lure of the mod...being able to be one of the last 2 guys and dropping an airstrike on your own spawn to kill all of the bad guys. The killstreaks are gamechangers in my opinion...
 
I think the killstreaks should stay and friendly fire should go. It would still be hardcore with no bunny hopping, no tubes, etc. Just my opinion.

Never! The car is absolutely vital in my opinion. It can bring your team back from the brink of a loss. I'm ok with getting blown up by one every once in a while in exchange for that opportunity to save the whole team.

well my hubby unionjackk gave me mine its actually mantis but jackk cant spell when hes drunk so he spelt it manthis as for jackks well his first names is Jackson and hes originally from England so he decided on Unionjackk I personaly think my suggestion for unions name was better jackkass but whatever.

I'll start with mine...When I started gaming around 1990, my game name was always IDieAlot. Then, about 7 or 8 years ago, I played a game called Swat4 and was part of a clan called tCC. There were three maps in particular that I'd always be in the bathroom/toilet area sniping through windows. Pretty soon everyone started calling me flush because I was always near the toilets...since then, the name just stuck!
 
I'm looking forward to hearing how everyone else got there gamenames originally!!!

I graduated from Kansas State in 1991!! I grew up in Topeka and used to work in KC. Now I'm on the east coast in PA.

Cool, my grandpa and my cousin are both alums and my dad went there for a while, my whole family are big KState fans!! We're originally from Independence down in the southeast corner.
