As you all know Dad passed away September 30/2023. Mom has been in a nursing home since August 2023. Dad and her were supposed to meet there but it was not to be.
On March 05/2023 Mom was rushed by ambulance to Emergency care. She was suffering from pneumonia, a UT infection and poor circulation in her legs. Mom passed away at 1:00 this morning.
Dad at 91 and mom 88 after 69 years of marriage they are together again. Their pain and suffering in now over.
Although sad our family is so happy they are finally free.

    Do you have any nicknames? Personal or in game? My family still calls me Kathy, but other people call me Kat because I used to work at cats meow.

    When you were a child, what did you want to be when you grew up? When I was a child I wanted to be a singer and an actress. I went onto fulfill those career dreams.
    Where have you lived? I’ve lived in New Orleans Louisiana, Metairie Louisiana, Laplace Louisiana, Kenner Louisiana, Memphis Tennessee, Nashville Tennessee, and now I live in Kankakee Illinois  
     
    What got you into gaming? In my 30s I ended up having cancer three times. To distract myself from the pain and depression I started playing a game called fear. It’s an FPS horror based game.

    Do you volunteer? If so, where? Years ago I did community theater which charged people to see the play and the money went to help subsidize different community services in the town I lived in.
    What is an interesting fact about you? Back in my acting days I was accidentally in a porno. I got called by a friend of mine and he said they were making a horror movie and would I please be one of the bordello girls in the background. So I went there and I got in my corset and all those little things and during filming, I noticed that there were people rubbing on each other. After the general shot where they showed us all girls just sitting around they cleared the set and went on for the bedroom scene. So yeah, I accidentally did porn

I went on to become a benefits administrator and then after Katrina I went up north and became a mortgage lost mitigation analyst eventually working my way up to human resources Director.
    Did you know what profession you wanted to work in when you started college? I wanted to be a vocal music education teacher with an emphasis in coral conducting

    What is your current job title? I consider myself retired. I live off of a disability check from the government. It’s really hard having a fixed income but I do what I can.
    Did you win any awards or recognitions during your education?  I will always be proud of being in the chamber singers at the University of New Orleans. It was a very small group of singers at the University who did quite a number of performances. We actually did magical dinners one Christmas and it was the most fun. We all got dressed up in medieval costumes and I was sending notes to the chancellor saying hey handsome and stuff like that

Great forums and members are always helpful. It was great joining two EU XI Fest and met some great people. But I am not going to bungee jump ever again!!!

To be honest, it is more a "sob story" for our Admins too. They have to fucking waste their time, monitoring the servers. Some players would be leaving the game, because "that guy" is back at it again and not only you. 
To be honest, your record is kind of more than crap. Involving others and going on for 10 years. 
If an Admin is willing to open an Admin thread about this situation, that is fine by me. You threw in your glasses by yourself, and to have eyes on you every single time when you are playing in our house if that happens. 

Luke, while we appreciate your appeal and understand what you are saying here, the issue still stands that you have active pbbans which you need to address directly with pbbans.  You'll need to appeal your bans and show that they've been lifted in order to have us consider allowing you to continue to play on XI servers.  In the meantime, I had to ban your Luke profile as well.

FYI,
My mom had a large right side stroke a week before this Christmas Day 2022. My dad was there and noted some issues quickly and called 911, this likely saved her life. While he was on the phone with emergency services the local EMS that happened to be around the corner at the time rolled in while he was on the phone. She was expressed to the local hospital. They administered the needed clot buster medicine and she is alive and well today. Working on the remaining issues as you might imagine nothing is perfect. Hope you all appreciate your loved ones as much as I do now. Appreciate all the help from everyone so far.

My mother, age 90, born October 25, 1931, passed away this morning.
My wife and I were fortunate enough to be able to talk to her last night and tell her we loved her.
She will be missed very much.

Sadly my wife has passed at 48 yrs old we wasnt expecting this it was a sudden death we have been together since I was 16 years old married at 17 we had our ups and downs like every couple does but we stuck together i still don't know yet what the cause is as they have to do an autopsy I'm not in a good place at the min but fighting it day by day not been eating much and turned to drinking alot just glad I got my family around me just wanted to let u all know as xi is part of my family had a really nice chat with @FunStick thank you brother that did help to take my mind of things for a while

The last week and a half have been very difficult for me and my family, if you could please just keep us in your thoughts and prayers as my mom was hospitalized on Wed Aug 25th for her severe COPD and  Pneumonia  and tested positive for covid but lost her battle on Sat Aug 28th. I tried to make it the 1300 miles before she passed but was not in time. My family and I are so heart broken and now I tasked with finding a place for my Father and Brother to live so I will be busy for awhile.
