AMD Ryzen 9 5900x 12-core, 24-thread  If you can find one at it's MSRP of $549.  The 5900x is faster than the Intel 10900k in every way IF you can find one that the scalpers aren't reselling for $799+.
This X570 motherboard is a beast. You want an AMD motherboard like this with Bios Flashback so you can update the bios even without having CPU installed in it which is pretty darn neat. The CPU is newer than the motherboards so some motherboards will need updated Bios to get it the 5000 series chip to work. It's really simple to do if you have a small USB thumb drive. All X570 boards have a small Chipset fan which I'm not a huge "fan" of. pun intended lol. Those small fans are prone to failure. Dust kills them pretty darn quick.

The B550 is a newer AM4 board with PCie gen 4 support and it does not have a Chipset fan that will fail in a couple years.
This is a very solid and well built board. I might upgrade to this B550 board myself when I get a bit more money saved up. This board also has the Bios Flashback.

This 1TB Pcie Gen 4 M.2 SSD is a little expensive but it's literally twice as fast as Gen 3. It will work on the B550 motherboards but it will NOT work on the X570 boards or any of the Intel boards. Max Sequential Read Up to 7000 MBps.  Max Sequential Write Up to 5000 MBps. It's only $30 more than the Samsung 970 evo plus when it's not on sale for $149.

Here is 1 of the best Pcie Gen 3 M.2 SSDs. You can use it on any motherboard that supports PCIe Gen 3 or Gen 4. Max Sequential Read Up to 3500 MBps. Max Sequential Write Up to 3300 MBps.

DDR4 3600 is still the best plug and play optimized memory speed for AMD Ryzen 3000 and 5000 series chips.
These are one of the best CL16 kits you can get for the money and G-Skill has the quickest and easiest RMA if you ever have to RMA memory. I've been running G-Skill memory for a long time and I've only had to RMA 1 set and that was because my uncle spilled coffee on his keyboard and it cooked everything but the CPU. If you want 32gb you can buy the 4x8gb kit for $249. I'm running the same 2x8gb kit but I got mine on sale for $94 in July.

CL18 memory is slightly cheaper but it is noticeably slower than a CL16 kit. $210 for the 4x8gb kit.

This would be what I would build if I had the money and all of the parts were available for there MSRP.
    G.SKILL Trident Z Neo (For AMD Ryzen) Series 32GB (4 x 8GB) Model F4-3600C16Q-32GTZNC $249.99
    AMD Ryzen 9 5900x  $549.99
ASUS ROG Strix B550-F Gaming  $209.99
    SAMSUNG 980 PRO M.2 2280 1TB PCI-Express 4.0 x4, NVMe MZ-V8P1T0B/AM $229.99
    Total $1,239.96
Don't forget that you will need a decent CPU cooler to go with it. So add another $70-$150 to that for something decent.
This is the best CPU cooler on the market for air cooling. It's literally just as good as most of the AIO liquid coolers but it's very large.

Intel is ditching support for the 10 series LGA 1200 chips allready. They are not cross compatible with any other intel motherboard so you Have to run a Z390 motherboard.
That being said if you absolutely have to build a PC now? Intel recently dropped the MSRP on the 10 series chips by $100. An Intel 10900k is available for $514 on Newegg. I have no idea what would be a good motherboard but Intel chips are optimized for 3200mhz memory speed. Anything above 3200mhz and you will have to overclock and mess with voltages.
