Is the Bios your using in good shape? If so, then why update? Many times, it's better to stick with what works.

Can the BIOS slow down the computer? If not then I wont bother with the update.

There is no reason to mess with it. And 9/10ths of the time its a massive headache updating the bios. New bios drivers are normally riddled with issues. Let me tell you what you wanna hear. It will not improve your gaming experience, nor any computing experience that an entry class pc user would need.

i agree dont try unless you have too...but if you have to ...ive tried the update with usb and it was kinda tricky but will work.

just have to find the correct settings in bios to find/read the usb-thats the tricky part-then wait and cross your fingers

when i first built this i had a different cpu that needed bios upgrade to overclock it.if you dont need to update then dont.since then i upgraded cpu and reset bios to stk settings because overclocking isnt worth messing up your cpu-there so fucking fast now anyhow why gamble

Only time you should EVER update BIOS is if they've fixed a firmware issue with it that was affecting your machine...and that's not often it happens.
