We have been working on some exciting changes to bring to our COD4 MW community. A little while ago we started recreating the currently deployed Freezetag mod so we can recover the source code. This would have allowed us to make enhancements and introduce new features on top of the currently deployed "xi_mw2_old" mod. Our end goal is to have a COD4x Server running our custom mod with COD4x support built in to it. This has several advantages, namely better network performance, stability, security and anti-cheat features. Here are the two tracks where we are working. 

1. COD4x Server + xi_mw2_old (existing + some enhancements)
2. COD4x Server + COD4x enabled custom mod

We were able to get support from our host (NFO) where they went above and beyond to support COD4x on a managed server. Therefore, we are able to start testing track #1.  Here are the details for this server.

On track #2 we have made great progress but it is a tall order. We had to reconstruct the mod from a deployed binary and it has been challenging to say the least. We are at 60% completion at the moment and it requires more hours. 

I will update this thread as I go, and feel free to provide feedback.

Obviusly i love playing the Cod Waw, Cod Waw Freeze Tag and Cod 4 Modern Warfare and "sometimes" Cod modern versions like BO7 etc etc with you all .... BUT.......... how about these ones????

I do also look always and play and test several games, mostly based in Vietnam, or WWII, due most latest modern games are to me nothing except Stupid skins and weapons and equipment that are impossible in real life, or that lead me to spend more than 70% of my time adding and removing attachments from my weapon, equipment, or backpack, etc. (again, a total waste of time and realism), which in most cases only make me mentally disconnect from the game. I lose the immersion of a tactical shooter, and at that very moment, the game loses its meaning for me, which I suppose doesn't happen to me alone.

Friends have recounted the desperate final moments of a young surfer who was attacked by two massive sharks off the coast of Gracetown, Australia as they looked on helplessly.

Witnesses report that 29-year-old Brad Smith was surfing off Left Handers Beach, roughly 150 miles south of Perth, when an enormous great white shark "as wide as a shark" struck without warning, snapping his surfboard in two in 2012.

• His friends watched in terror as Smith plunged into the water, flailing desperately in a churning mix of water and blood.

He fought frantically to survive, shoving the beast away and pounding it in the nose with his fists.

But moments later his friends spotted a second shark closing in. After approximately 45 seconds of struggle, they say Smith was pulled below the surface as the water transformed into a deep crimson, reports The Mirror.

Then, Smith's lifeless body rose to the surface, "bitten in half".

His friends courageously entered the shark-infested waters to recover what remained of Smith, alerting other surfers, "Don't go in there, someone's been bitten."

Cameron Rowe, 17, said: "There was nothing we could do to help him. At first I saw one shark and thought it was one of the usual ones you see swimming-around, reef sharks, which don't cause you any trouble.

"But these things were massive. When the first one came up a bit I could see its fin and it was almost a yard high.

"When it came out of the water with Brad still fighting it, I could see its body was about the width of a car and its open jaws were as wide as a man's arm.

"What happened then just ended up in a terrible feeding frenzy. It was awful."

Experts speculate that he fell prey to great white sharks, which are larger, faster and more aggressive than other species.

Whilst shark attacks are uncommon, it's estimated that these creatures claim the lives of four individuals in Australia annually.

In the wake of Smith's tragic death, sharpshooters took to the sea on a fleet of boats, aided by police helicopters, in an effort to locate and eliminate the predatory sharks.

Tony Cappelluti, an official from the fisheries authority, stated: "If we find them, we have the authority to kill them. Great whites are a protected species, unless one kills a human.

"If they've tasted human blood, then they'll remain a problem until we've tracked them down."

Smith's close friend Rod Draper described him as a beloved figure in the local surf community. "He absolutely loved life," he said.

"There isn't a person who could say a bad word about him."

Despite some surfers advocating for the sharks' extermination, Smith's family reportedly urged authorities not to kill the creature, stating they did not hold it responsible for the incident.

We have been having movie nights on Discord every Sunday night since January 2025 and it has been going pretty well.  We added a second night on Wed night.  Both at 9pm EST.  Anyone and Everyone is welcome to join!  We usually watch and crack stupid jokes about the movie in text chat.

I post a poll each Thursday for everyone to choose the movie we watch on Sunday and I have kinda stuck with 80s and 90s classics, but am limited to streaming services that allow streaming in Discord or whatever I have downloaded to my computer or DVDs.  For Wednesday night I stream whatever I want because having two polls a week was too confusing.

If anyone has a special movie to stream, that would be amazing!  We have already streamed many many many classics and have rewatched some a few times like Conan!  Be sure to come and join us for a fun night of fun and frivolity!

Once again that time of year is upon us when we gather together in remembrence of those that shared their time and friendship with us here in this great community.Time has never slowed down for us at all. Our very first memorial event was in celebration of Our dear friend Killa>XI< back in 2009 and it is as if it was yesterday. 17 years later and here we are celebrating the many friends that we shared Our time with in Our servers and on this website. 
Officially I guess this is Our 16th year of having Our COD2 memorial event. I know there are so many new folks and it would be proper to inform you that COD2 for many of us was the beginning. COD2 may not be what it once was but it is where it began and it is there that many of Our fallen came together in friendship and helped build this amazing group of people into the clan we are today. So lets get together as we do every year in their remembrence if even for a few rounds and lift up some laughter in their names. I hope to see you all there!
