Oh, and they also have more sex than females who don't play online games, according to a study by Harris Interactive that was commissioned by Gamehouse. That would explain why they're happier, and presumably, so are their partners. More than half -- 64 percent -- of online women gamers are in a serious relationship of some sort, and 7 out of 10 are happy with their relationship status, whether they have one or not. "Billy Mitchell, once named 'The Gamer of the Century,' was the face of video gamers for more than 25 years. Today, with the popularity of social and mobile games, there's a new generation of gamers," Gamehouse stated in a ginormous infographic (see here). If you're a guy that's ever been in a relationship with a woman, you should understand it's futile trying to understand the opposite sex, just as women will never understand what the big deal is with belching. But Gamehouse's infographic is filled with interesting revelations and potential insights. Women who play games online aren't doing so to connect with people. The number one reason is to relieve stress, followed closely by boredom and also just to get a mental break. Female online gamers also tend to watch more TV than their non-gaming sisters. What's the takeaway? "Maybe if we all watched a little less TV and played more games online, we'd all be having a little more sex," Gamehouse chief gamer Matt Hulett said in a statement.
