Fathead is my 10 yr. old son.  He is relatively new to FPS games on PC.  Mostly has played Madden or NBA2Kxx on PS3.  He is a work in progress, so go easy on him in game.  It was suggested to go ahead and tag him up, so if its ok with everyone, I will.

While this is true, they could have done a private or public beta test (as was done with MW).  Instead, just as with MW2, they decide that they need to rush to market to get the Holiday Cash Cow rolling.  Where is it written that they HAVE TO PUSH a new COD title EVERY YEAR.

The beta testing process obviously helps to detect and fix a lot of bugs before release.  Somewhere along the way, the devs got into the mindset that the beta is somehow giving the public too much of a preview.  Its as if they are scared the public won't buy the game if they don't like the beta.  So, instead of beta and stress testing, they rush to release and deliver a subpar product.  Hoping that all will buy only from title recognition and flashy 30 sec trailors.  Mission accomplished in both MW2 and apparently BO.

I have not purchased BO (and not sure if I will).  I am not a Treyarch fan.  The disaster the was COD3 and WAW in my opinion are weak attempts at best.  IW was miles ahead in design, production, and story telling.

My days of salivating at the thought of a new COD game are pretty much over.

Shy, good to see your intro.  I can say, he is a pretty good guy, and quite the idiot.  Just don't agree to go camping with him, he always wants the guys to play naked leap-frog.

Far be it from me to be the fly in the ointment, but the FT2 server stats currently show what looks like the ace server stats.  Just letting you know.  As far as my vote, man, you guys have enough on your plate recently.  So pick the one that is easier to take care of.

Hey Free, gamed with you some.  Good to see you found the website.

Camping is not my thing, but I get why some do it.  It helps to level the playing field for them.  So I don't have a problem with it.

As far as the spawn camping goes, the answer for that is to extend the spawn protection.  Let the spawners run a few seconds to get away from the spawn point.

I am not sure why we don't have it in the Ace Mod, as this is my first time ever playing that mod.  Seems like that would help. 

The FT servers have good spawn protection already.  Spawn camping is much more acceptable there cause it is how to end the round or game.  The ones that bitch about spawn camping there are the spawners that tend to start shooting instead of getting their asses to a good thawing point.
