I have done all that twice already. i was just on the server for the amount of time to auto lvl to lvl 55 and then the map switches and I get "Waiting for Server to load new map" and it just hangs there. That is why I say it cannot be on my side. If I am waiting on the server how is it my side? If it is the maps then how can I play the server if it is giving me bad maps. I did notice that in the downloader " Compare Existing file sizes" I checked that then ran it again for the MW2 server. The map "mp_selo" came up with two files. I then noticed after that did not fix anything that when I tried dl'ed off the server again it got stuck on that map "mp_selo" I can erase my mods and map 50 million times,but it wont fix it if there is a corrupted file being installed.

Makes no sense though. I have downloaded all your other mods np,yet when I try to join your MW2 freeztag server it just hangs. While you state I seem to be the only person with this issue you are mainly talking about everyone that reg plays the server and not any new people. There may be a issue in the server upload. I get Awaiting connection till about 6 seconds and then it just hangs at "Setting up Game". If it is a corrupted file or map that I have I am getting it only from your downloader. Anyone that currently plays the server wouldn't have the corrupted file since they dl'ed it well before I did. I also tried to just dl off the server and it still just hangs,which brings me to believe it is the server and not my game.

Anyone have a workaround for this? It's driving me nuts. I have no idea how it worked fine one day and now it just hangs there ar the "Setting up Game". There has to be some kind of setting that changed somewhere. Like I said I did everything I could on my side, even as far as a full reinstall.

Ok so I fully uninstalled the game and reinstalled it. This time I decided not to use your XIdownloader and just try downloading off the server. I have the correct patch info and punkbuster is up to date. I load the MW2 server and once again it just hangs at "Setting up Game". I made sure I deleted all the files and uninstalled the game before a fresh install. I think the problem may actually be on the server side. I have np's at all with the other freezetag servers. Also I just noticed that in the XIdownloader options for servers, the MW2 server shows "Game Type" as SAB and the other freezetag servers as TDM. Does that have anything to do with it??

Nope try that and still hangs. Makes no sense at all I played it 2 days ago with np's.

Is there something wrong with this server? I played yesterday with no issue and now it takes forever to setup game and then when it switches maps it just hangs.

I was formerly known as {US}CrAzY, but now go by just CrAzY. If you had read my introduction and have played on the freezetag servers you would know who I am and my background in fps gaming. I had said in my introduction that if I had ever considered joining another clan besides {US} that >XI< would be it. I would like to express my interest in joining >XI<. I had to leave {US} after I was asked to resign by the clan leader. We had a disagreement on how our new BO servers were ran and he did not like how I expressed my concerns and asked me to resign. I had to step away from a clan that I had played with for more than 10 years. I would rather not get into great detail on this board about it, if you want to know more please ask me privately. I have asked a few members about the process of joining >XI< and I do know that I have to put in a certain amount of time played. I would hope I surpassed that already with my former tag. If I have to do it again then that will not be an issue either way. I also know that an Admin has to approve of me joining. I have played with plenty Admins on the Freezetag servers so starting with them may help me. I'm just looking for somewhere to call home. I have been playing fps games for almost 15 yrs with a small absence in WoW (crack). I have given WoW up for good this time with a hope of reclaiming my actual life and going back to school. In my gaming career I have never not worn a tag and prefer not to. I know there are some (one individual) in >XI< that believe I cheat while playing, but let me ease your worries on that. I have never believed in cheating and have never downloaded any cheats. It ruins a game and makes a less skilled opponent even more fun to kill when they use it against me. Sorry to have rambled on.
