Hi all so thanks to tw33tle-dee.  The full screen optimization - disable worked and I am able to get back into the XI favs I have saved.

Hi, I too started having this same issue about a month ago.  Brand new computer less than a year old. (well in computer standards actually ancient now-lol).  Anybody figure our a fix prior to late June when it just started crashing to the desktop like Marskeman I had no issues.

Been player here a long time.  Had my old computer fail in December and got a new one. Yeah.  Anyway by late January installed COD WaW and all patches and have been playing online with everyone until about a week ago.

Game will launch severs will show up, refresh works, fav list is good but when I pick a server XI DM1 or DM 2 etc... it starts to load the game and then crashes. Screen returns to the normal but I to use the task manager to quit the game as it shows the game not responding. There is one multiplayer server I can still get to and it works fine.  Uninstalled the game and re-installed but no joy just the one multiplayer room working still.

Anyone able to help?
