    Hi guys. My laptop hd crashed so I got a new 160 gig hd for it. The problem I'm having is when I try to install windows, it seems to copy the files ok but won't boot off the hd. I've tried everything I can think of to get it boot but no luck. If I reinstall windows , it give the message OS already installed do you want to delete and reinstall. The drive doesn't show in bios no matter what settings I have. I'm thinking maybe a bios update but can't because I can't boot. I have bios F5 on it now and HP shows an update to F13 on their site. The question is, how can I get bios to recognize the drive and get windows installed? And most importantly, should I try to get laid tonight?
