  1. Oh no! You actually heard me! I didn't think you were actually listening!
  2. That's a long two hours. Feel free to reach out if there's anything I can do to help.
  3. Howdy XI, A friend of mine named Matt (aka l33tgeek, aka Fir3Marshall) suggested I should check out your Minecraft server so I hopped on. I'm an old married guy with kids and I've been active online in various ways since the late 1980s. I've been using computers of one sort or another since the late 1970s. I collect programming languages and have a pretty respectable collection so far. I am currently employed by CUNA, Inc. as a senior web developer and have been a senior developer of one stripe or another since the end of 2000. While I've played a lot of games my current game of choice is Minecraft. I've been on more servers than I can conveniently remember, been a developer with root file system access on two major public servers one of which spent some time in the #1 position on minestatus.net. I was on call on that server too so am very familiar with getting calls at 4 am because Towny crashed with the server reboot. Both major servers have changed hosting so I've dealt with that as well. I've helped out with advice and occasionally sysadmin assistance on a number of small Minecraft servers as well and am the one who bought the McMyAdmin license for Matt's personal Minecraft server. On my current main server I've built a plugin that was my version of a "Hello World" project that sends a message from a configurable list to the console when a player places a block of cobblestone. I call that plugin "Ewww... Cobble..." I still need to add Vault support to it so I can make permissions work the way I want them to by default. Coding is fun but the reason I enjoy Minecraft as much as I do is because I love building. I'm pretty rabidly creative and building huge projects satisfies that part of my personality. If you have any questions about coding in general or Minecraft coding in specific I probably have an answer. Alex/awol
