thanks for the input. I didnt uninstall sob as i only just formatted and updated all my drivers before i reinstalled the game. Tried the pbsetup had nothing to update. Anyways long story short ive managed to play all night tonight by moving a few files, working backwards as to what was different on comp last night from previous. Gonna try it reverse tomorow see if it starts giving the error again and will let you know

for the past couple weeks ive been getting this error, although the only time i get it is on the mw2 freezetag cod4. Generally i get it when i first join and then once rejoin can play long as i want. Tonight for some reason i cant seem to play a map without getting it. Ive tried all the fixes and im still getting it, its becoming very annoying. It actually dosent come up with a iw3 error now my game freezes eventually gets to desktop with a black screen/window covering about 3 quarter from top left corner. I can control alt del and end task which brings up the error report and then i get another cod4 open and so the process goes on only way im able to stop it is hit the reset button on front of comp Any help be much appreciated

Firstly thankyou for the help trying to get onto the website, still not sure what fixed it but came to the site and it logged in. Secondly sorry phantom for not getting on teamspeak this afternoon i got called into work. Ok well a bit about me play under the name Jimmy (thats already taken hence the 1) im 34 and from Sunderland in the good old north east uk. Work wise im an area manager and look after a mix of 24 pubs and bars. Can be a pain in the ass at times, but it has its good points and hence why im on playing at stupid o'clock in the morning to wind down. Anything else you want to know feel free to ask am off to go freeze some people
