Hey everybody! Just like last year (a year ago I made a post here with video's of that day) I went to "Teckelrennen" (aka Dachshund-/Wienerrace) with our Dachshund. It was a lot of fun once again and I think we won the SWp (Slowest Wiener price ). I missed one race because I was getting the chairs, but my parents told me he was a real dachshund and didn't come to them One race he started too early so he had to run it 2 times, but on the first go was the only time he actually ran to me (so as long as there are no other dogs running, he knows his mission ). One race he had a late start (he had to explore something before he could start the race) and the last one where ALL the dachshunds were racing each other, he.. well.. I have a feeling u'll find him halfway thru (when all the other dogs are already on the other side..) >.<!! My dad was annoyed Frodo didn't listen, my mom and I had fun because Frodo clearly had fun. Last sunday I went to another event of the Dutch Dachshund Breed Club (NTC). I made 17 videos and most of them are focused on our dog Frodo (Standard Shorthaired Black and tan male dog). There was this Miniature (Dwerg) female Dachshund puppy that was allowed by the owners to be a little tyrant LOL She was a handful but adorable.. It was a lot of fun and our dog likes the ladies alot but behaved himself very well. I see it only shows the first video of the playlist, the link will bring you to the rest. Hey everybody! We own a male Dachshund and last sunday there was this organized event we call "Teckelrennen", It's a game where 2 dachshund have to run 25 or 50 meters to get to their owner, the first one to pass the 2nd line wins that match. Winners vs winners. Losers vs losers. And last but not least all dogs against each other. It was the first time I went to an event like this, the weather wasn't too great (pouring rain now and then), but it was hilarious. I made 23 video's and they're all uploaded. Our dog ran in video's 7, 14 and 21. If you don't like dogs or cuteness, don't watch these video's!!
