As most people ive talked to have noticed, they changed the L96A1 and RPK-74 weapons by changing their names to L115 and RPK respectively. I would like to clarify the reasons based on information I have found. I originally thought that they only changed the names and it may be due to copyright. I now realise that they did not only change the names but they are actually different weapons. The RPK-74 fires the same round as an AK74, it is now an RPK as this fires the same round as an AK47 and this translates to the game as well. The RPK has been buffed due to this. The same with the L96A1, they did actually change it to the L115A1 which fires a larger round and has a longer range. They did also nerf the L96 (L115) however by changing the magazine size. I believe that they changed the name and calibur to fit the nerf they did to the magazine size (went from 10 +1 to 5+1).
