i got some jb weld and reattached intake line from manifild to carb sensor. I think i found the right line from the alternator to plug onto the little tab on the choke sensor. Gotta wait til tomorrow after the jb weld sets to fire her off and see if i took care of it. Drove to work yesterday, looked in the carb and the flap was down Frown. Thx for the info roguekill and i'll post tomorrow with the results. Lets hope that there is no problem with my choke mechanism.

SUCCESS....plate isnow open. The only other question i have for you roguekill, or anyone else in the know, is why do i have such a strong exhaust gassy smell still coming out? I realize that the truck is 29 years old. i'm gonna change plugs, cap and rotor tomorrow or so. I'm hoping a little more fire will burn out the gas in the cylinders better?????is that right???Anyways, please post and let me know....thx.
