My mic works great for everything until I start playing COD4. It even worked right up until we started playing and then as I am trying to talk in game it sounds like crap (so I am told). Try updating drivers. Try turning your mic volume down in Windows and adjusting it up in game. Or if your using a sound card did you disable the on board sound in your bios.
