Hey guys, anyone a stargazer? If you are and have a smart phone d/l an app called googlesky.map. Shows the planets, stars, and constellations in real time or you can time travel. Pretty cool app.

Yes dude,

I bought myself a telescope about 2 months ago, and loving it.

Amazing to think that when I look through my eyepieces, I can see globular clusters (amazing star groupings), nubulae, planets, double stars and galaxies.

Bought a Skywatcher 200pds on a cg5-gt mount and several eyepieces and filters, and yesterday bought my first astrocam, Atik Titan to see if I like astrophotgraphy, and if so I can use as a guide cam in the future.

Another good site is Stellarium, you can set your location and get real time skymap so you can see things you are looking at, it is best on pc though although you can get it on i-phone etc.

I guess Astronomer is a telescope user too on our site? lol
