Any machinists out there?

What programs do you use and why?

I'm using Solidworks and AutoCAD to draw and create 3-d parts then port them over to BobCAM to create G-code.

The problem I have is saving the part as a DFX and opening it with BoBCAM. It works fine THE FIRST TIME. If you close it then reopen it, it skews the part about .0059 thou. If you create code off these reloaded part it creates bad code.

I'm trying to talk my bosses into getting a different program (CHEAP). What do you guys recommend?

I am familiar with CADCAM, MasterCAM, and SolidCAM but would like any and all input.

Thanks,

Signed
