Most likely because my card does not even support directx 11 so im guessing it is still using dx10 not sure though. The game runs great once it gets going but at the begining when ever i enter a server it crashes back to my desktop then automatically goes back to the game but then freezes for about 10seconds and then it finally starts letting me play. Not sure what else to check as I tried different drivers even tried the omega drivers updated direct x deleted all the maps and let them re download directly from the server any suggestions would be great not sure what else to try Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Did you do a upgrade from vista? If not did you save all your game files from your old config or did you start from scatch. Do you have a Antivirus running? Also do a "Start + R" that will open up a run command window and type in "dxdiag" and post the first page results. Oh try to turn Aero effects off. and try the game. Ph4nt0m Posted September 25, 2009 Member ID: 1 Group: **- Inactive Registered Users Followers: 39 Topic Count: 162 Topics Per Day: 0.04 Content Count: 1909 Content Per Day: 0.42 Reputation: 121 Achievement Points: 11489 Solved Content: 0 Days Won: 1 Joined: 12/06/11 Status: Offline Last Seen: January 4, 2020 Birthday: 06/28/1975 Share Posted September 25, 2009 I've been running Win7 for a couple of months now and am pleased as punch with it, the only issue that i have is that i have to turn of the Windows Search Indexer before i go into game because it gives me huge amounts of lag in game if i don't, try turning that of before you game and see if it has any effect, To turn it of, click on start, then type "services" in the search box without the speech marks, then hit enter, in the window that opens, scroll down to the very bottom and find the entry for Windows Search, right click this and then click Stop, Now start your game up and see if you still have issues with freezing and stopping....
