Ah, ok! I'm sorry to hear this. Are you saying that someone tried to HACK the XI servers? What pieces of dung!!!

I tried to get onto the COD5 server this morning around 6:15 (central) but couldn't. I could see that there were already 6 or 7 people already on the server but for some reason I couldn't get on. In the 'Server Name' section on the available servers list I saw the server address displayed and NOT the XI server title so usually when I see this, it means that there is a connection issue with the server. I've about 6 servers loaded into my favorites and the XI COD5 server was the only one that having problems, or so it seemed. Just thought I'd pass it on to you guys so you'll know that something was foul...

You guys are gathering new followers of your server. Last 5 or 6 times I tried to get on, it was to capacity (plus 1 or 2 password usages). Impressive, to say the least. Y'all ever thought about adding more slots? Just wondering...

Well it has happened with another map. The map called mp_powcamp_n does it as well except I don't go thru all the prior DL attempts before the redirect attempt.

I attempted to DL the map XI Titanic this morning and each time I tried, I got thrown into some sort of loop. It wouldn't DL for me and would just start over after getting to the part where the DL bar is visible. Once the process got to that point, it (the screen) would kind of skip from one attempted DL of the map to the next. Then it would start over. I'm gonna attempt the Downloader and maybe that will fix it. (10 minutes later...) Ok. That didn't fix it. Am I the only one that's having this problem? Let me try to break it down a little bit further: Upon double clicking the server, I get taken to a screen that says SETTING UP GAME... After a few flashes of the little dots (periods), I get taken to the DL progress screen that has a DL bar on it. The info pops up but only for a second or so before switching to ANOTHER DL file but quickly jumps to yet ANOTHER DL but quickly jumps to a REDIRECT file and then the screen goes black (save for the arrow cursor which is freely moveable BTW). Then the whole process starts anew. Help!

Lately (the past week or so) I've been getting CIs that aren't sporadic like normal. They're CIs that make me have to get out of game. I try to get back in but the server name is the server IP and not the real title. So strange...

My name is Mike. My gaming names are Riddick_VI and Kilroy6. Became acquainted with the XI COD5 server thru a friend and former clan mate DogYears in the SnR clan. Clicked on friends (in the COD5 server menu) one early morning to find out where I could go to play with someone I 'knew' and walked away several HOURS later with many more friends than I had b4 I entered the XI server. You guys are some of the most fun people (not to mention TOLERANT) that I've ever had the pleasure of gaming with. I'm sad to say that I've been a part of many clans (roughly 4 or 5) and it always seems to end in an 'awkward' way. Part of me wants to apply for XI tags but I don't want anything to ever mess what I have 'now' with those on the XI server. I think I have a sense of abrasiveness when I play as I am highly competitive and that may be a reason why I've been a part of these clans and now am not a part of but more APART FROM them. Some have ended badly, others with little more than a parting goodbye or take care. All in all, I'd say that I've made many acquaintances thru the years and even some 'friends' but one thing hasn't changed and that is my love of this particular genre of first-person shooters...the WWII era. Anyhow, just wanted to give a little about meself so's to give you all some semblance of a reason as to why I'm such a DOUCHE on the server. Just remember I NEVER mean to hurt or offend anyone and if I become too abrasive, PLEASE let me know and I will 'put a lid on it'. Cheers to all and...HAPPY HUNTING!
