Gonna start by saying, last night when I tried to play, from the time I got in, all I heard were complaints about the rotations getting stuck, maps not getting played, other players, etc etc. Needless to say, didn't appreciate it. I post every rotation here and not a single comment is posted back so please don't complain about it during the game. Disrupting game play in this manner will get you kicked. If the server gets stuck at the end of a particular map, it is helpful to know which map in case it's simply the next map is missing from the server which does happen on occasion as maps have to be loaded each time the rotation is changed. If there's a problem with a player and no admin around, then feel free to send a PM to an Admin or Head Admin, don't post it here. *** Now, spent some time today to change up the rotations. As this server runs rotations based on the number of players, some maps were not getting played much so I set the number of players where rotations change from small to medium to large size maps. Small maps up to 4 players Medium maps up to 10 players Large maps with 11 players or more. Let me know if the player counts work or don't work well for the map size rotations. This can be adjusted to try and get the most out of the maps. It will never be perfect but only other option is to have a single rotation with various size maps. With other changes, I heard there was a concern for jumping/hopping. For this, bunny hoppers will see their aim shift. However, if this becomes an issue with climbing walls and such, can revisit this. Or if I misunderstood and it's a jumping too high issue, then can resolve that. As I mentioned above, Rule added to the intro screen, no camping enemy spawn. This has to be monitored. Removed spawn protection so once you spawn, get moving. This map has had issues on some of our servers so I didn't put it into rotation however it is a stock map so an admin can load it if you want to try it out here. Some changes made: -Gameplay is set for a 6 sec spawn delay. -Best 2 of 3 rounds wins match; rounds 10min / map WEAPON CLASSES -No Sniper and heavy gunner classes. WEAPON ATTACHMENTS -No grenade launcher attachment. PERKS -No martydom -No last stand -No flamethrower -No bazooka -No two primary weapons OTHER -No vehicles/tanks Anti-Camping -Will show icon and message to player -Time limit 2 min -Must move approx 12m These changes are now active. Will update maps tomorrow. Anything else, keep posting. This is a good start.

Unfortunately, anti camping is not a game mode specific setting where you can limit camping to one side or the other or within a specified range. Only thing can do here is set a time limit a player can sit in one spot and the distance that player has to move to be considered not camping. Otherwise, since you want to be able to camp to protect your own flag and avoid enemy campers, would then come down to a game rule and monitored by admins/mod/players.

I'll check but off the top of my head, don't believe this an option in this mod. There is an anti-camping option, however as noted, when there are many players, this limits the ability to protect their flag. And unfortunately this option does not have a setting say for a minimum distance. If this is what people want, will set it up. There is an option for antiflag camping, meaning the player carrying the flag has to keep moving, a certain minimum amount of distance when checked, otherwise is shown on the radar for a set number of seconds. Is this something of interest? Would certainly keep the game moving. I took out grenade launchers, heavy gunner, and sniper. This can be changed if people want those as selections. Rounds have been set to 10min, best 2 of 3 rounds wins the map.

Comments noted... Will make some changes. Right now, when the flag is dropped, can be picked up by team mate or returned to base by other team player (by touch). If preferred, this can be set so that the apposing team player must physically return the flag to base. As for map list, will see what I have for a CTF compatibility list as not all custom maps have this gametype listed.

In reality though, we don't just use metric in Canada either, it's still a mix. In automotive design, it's metric, when you go buy lumber, it's imperial. Depends on what it is. Personally, I've always used imperial and to be honest, I don't even own a measuring tape that is metric. it's on my tool list but haven't the need yet. haha
