    Been using Sicarius/Sicar/Sicarius23 for a number of years. Back in the day I thought assassins were cool because of some random Ragnarok Online artwork I found for their Assassin class, and it just kind of stuck. Picked up using 23, because Apparently I'm not the only one who likes assassin-y things. It was also the number that a Pro Paintballer I liked used, didn't even think about MJ till I was older.

    I come from the BF4 area, and I watch this video pretty regularly because I'm a guitar nerd, and because this track is awesome.

    BF4 is too much server side to host locally. That's why there are so many issues with the game, the server has to track so much that it just bogs it down. Not to mention the kind of bandwidth you'd need to make it efficient and not lag out.

    I have plans to replace my current Plantronics 870 thing with the q701, and an AT2020 with a boom mic. If you're set on what you want to buy, try it with just the soundblaster mic and the headphones and see if it's good for you, that way you can have the zalman as a backup incase anything happens.

    I used to use AKG k701s for the longest time and had a cheap $25 logictech over the ear headset/mic combo around my neck. I did that for a good couple of years before the cable finally got ripped out on my 701s. If you're going to use the Beyers and that ZxR combo, you don't need the zalman mic. The Audio Controller has a mic built in, and their codec has a built in directional microphone, so it's only going to pick up what's in it's range. As for the amp, there are some good inexpensive options. I used a CMOY headphone amp for a while, but that video card should be able to power the Beyers. I know my onboard powered my 701s just fine, so a dedicated audio card shouldn't have any problem.

    What would be different in game wise? Would we play the matches like usual, but with a bit more tactical input and play style? Or have you guys been working on in game rules, as well?

    Sounds like a fun idea, I'd be interested in trying it out, for sure. Do you really want to give generals 4 noncombat moves, though? The way I remember playing risk, was that you had a chance to turn in your cards for troop reinforcement pre-battle, and then 2+ combat attempts, and then post battle, you could move your troops around. Something similar might be better.

    I know AM3+ was backwards compatible with AM3 because that's what I just upgraded to yesterday. but I don't think AM3/+ has backwards compatibility with AM2+ (which is what your 965 is). You'll be looking at a new mobo and CPU if you want to go with the new Vishera cpus.

    Your 965 is what's holding you back, actually. Your video card isn't too old that it's bad, and you have more than enough RAM. I used the 955 I think, when Phenom II launched, and it was great in 2010. But it's the weak link in your issue. So, you can buy another card, that you won't see any performance out of, or you can start saving for a new build.

    You gotta look at the big picture. If your Processor sucks and you put a good card in, you're going to have a bottle neck at the CPU, meaning upgrading your card isn't going to help. What're the full specs of your current build?

    Hello there, I'm Sic, I've been playing on the XI Conquest 64 server for a little while now, and recently have been popping into the TS while I play. You guys seem like an alright bunch and I have a lot of fun playing with and against the XI regulars. I'm 27, and a PC Tech for a college in Texas. I help run a DayZ community in my spare time, and I've recently started playing Altis Life.
