So if anyone has noticed I have been playing way too much operation locker recently, and I am wondering, what would it take to possibly get us a 32 man 24/7 locker server with 2 weapons banned: mortars and air-bursts, I think that combo would get a lot of the other locker people to pop in. I want to know about funding and who would also like this, its a vanilla map so we could get a good amount of non premium players to keep a population. I would defiantly play there all the time, no mortars and air-bursts would attract more infantry players. I know the big issue would be cost, so id like an estimate on that, I would totally help pay for it if we got it going. and I could be more active through this, as I work an odd shift so I haven't been able to and I've become obsessed with stats. I hope this could become a thing.

So with my new pc I will need a new gpu, I have made up my mind and I want a GTX 980, but wich one will I want? There are many brands and features to chose from, so I want to find the perfect one for me. So first off, I've never over clocked but I want to, and I may water cool, (even if I don't overclock the temps would be amazing) so would I want a reference card or a card like EVGA has with a preinstalled water block (Idk if I want to water cool for sure so I am hesitant) I heard EVGA is making a 980 with a closed loop so that may be my best bet but if not what should I get, I love the look of the reference blower, but I hear core temps are not as cool as they could be. I also don't know if I want a card like the classified from EVGA, or any other brand. So what would be my best bet, I want possible water cooling (if it has a closed loop already I'm sold) should I grab a reference, or am I missing anything I should consider, please let me know. (Case is a corsair obsidian 750d and I have a 500w psu).

So this little thing has been going on for a while, for just over a month I seem to be getting random fps drops in bf4, and random freezes (some lasting up to 30 seconds, the game crashes entirely if it's longer than that) so I have been riding them out, ignoring them and just playing on. Well it seems to have gotten worse, I randomly freeze and lag a lot more often, and this is happening on all servers. Low population, even test range. One thing I did when it all started was drop my video settings to low and 720p, I would expect atleast 80fps consistent there, but noo. (AMD phenom II X4 965 @3.41, GTX 750 TI super clocked, and 24 gb of ram) so tonight when I went to play some OP locker (been doing it that too much) I was fine for a while, still lagging and stuff but playable. Then about 15 minutes before this post I all of a sudden had less than 5 fps, the sound was also playing as such, it was like a scratched disk. I looked at Amd overdrive and my cpu was at 100% 80c (never does that). So I naturally closed the game and let it cool for a bit, I only have a few idea's of what could be causing it but I have my doubts. 1: virus?? My younger sibling is a complete idiot when it comes to downloading online, no matter what I tell him to do he will do it anyways and fill his profile with adware so I always delete everything that shouldn't be there, close all processes that aren't windows or my game. (He says he hasn't downloaded anything recently yet new crap is always appearing, I'm wondering If he lies or there is some virus installing this crap over and over). 2: drivers? Would my nvidia drivers have anything to do with this, I highly doubt it but idk for sure. 3: game patch? Anyone else having similar lag but less dramatic? 4:my internet? So my father is picky, we have a timer that blocks the computer at particular times (because I have younger siblings). I notice it has issues, it's crappy and the isp is blocking things like pornogrophy. We also have a new router, idk if any of this affects frame rate, but my internet is sketchy, it seems to randomly disconnect. So this is all I know, I come here for your guy's thoughts, and if it happens to be the pc being the issue (it never had these problems a while ago) I am building a new one soon (I'll make a post about that because I have a few thoughts I want to run past) if anyone can think of anything feel free to say something, in the meantime I will be digging around my hard drive for bad programs.

Hello, I am going to get a job soon and would like to make a new build. I don't want to use existing parts from the current (Family PC). I would like one of the nice i7 chips in a 500$ range, at least a 600 wat PSU, 2 PCI-E MOBO, looking into an AMD 295x, an ssd for the os, and about 2 TB on a mechanical, also need monitor, keyboard, mouse, and headphones. (from the ground up). I also want a basic water cooler for the CPU. I want to keep it under $1,500 and I want to play battlefield 4 on ultra at at-least 90 frames so I can record. IDK when I will have all the money, But I want to start getting a price goal and an Idea of what parts to get (GPU can change, just find me a good one for the price). Hope to get some good feed back -Unit_108

Unit_108 replied to Unit_108's topic in Battlefield 4's Battlefield 4 Discussion
So here is my answer to these questions and a template of how I would like you guys to answer these: #1 Yes I think I will be getting hardline, the beta is fun and different keeping the game fresh to me. #2 I have gotten into it recently, first as a joke but I think I actually like some of it, it goes good with battlefield when your on a "roll". #3 Dr. Pepper all the way #4 I really enjoy the 4th of July, probably because I'm a pyro maniac #5 I like the looks of windows phone, capabilities of android, and the stability of iPhone, so I have an iPhone and it works well for me. #6 I don't really want to tell lol #7 I have AMD and think it's great, convince me in what to buy lol. #8 AMD Phenom II X4 @3.41 GHz, ATI Radeon HD 6770 (a bit old), 12 GB of DDR3, and 1.5 Terabytes of disk space. #9 Heck yes #10 All I need say is I have 100 M320 FB Kills So this seems simple enough, please share your answers below -
Decided to finish my last required posts in a more "legitimate" fashion, so I decided to ask some questions and hope for some community answers So question I am going to put a number on the question so you can link it in the answers #1 what is your opinion on the new hardline game and would you buy it? #2 What do you guys think about new music trends such as dubstep? #3 Coke, Pepsi, Dr. Pepper, or Mountian dew? You decide! #4 What is the best Holliday? #5 iPhone, Windows phone, or Android? #6 Do any of you belong to a fandom of some sort, please tell if you wish to. #7 AMD or Nvidia? #8 What are your PC Specs? #9 Will you be buying GTA 5 for your PC this fall? #10 I want a terrible weapon challenge for BF4, make it tough.

Honestly I was thinking the same thing when I heard about it, but after putting some time into the beta and I enjoyed it. Some people call it a "mod" or dlc, but it plays a bit different, I'm buying it because it is fun, and the theme switch up makes it a but fresh. Just wait till release before you form a big opinion, remember, it's from visceral, dice is still working in a 2 year cycle.
