wildbill72 Im running the same card pigdog and you should be up in the high hundreds.....try setting "sync every frame" to off..it worked for me,my fps shot through the roof on medium settings Thanks Bill....that did the trick. I did benchmark my PC just to see what I was getting and the results are pretty interesting. I am going to put them in another post, but basically, in the benchmark with everything cranked on high, I was getting FPS of 60.0 and Score of 1512. My old PC, which I thought ran pretty well only got 22.8 FPS and Score of 574. Pretty big jump in performance!!

OK, so I got my new PC up and running, but when I loaded COD4, I am getting a max of 60 FPS. WTF? I used to get 125 on my old PC? I made sure that my MAXFPS is set to 250, but that didn't help. I even turned down the graphics properties and it was still getting a max of 60 FPS? How is that possible? Here is my setup: Intel i7 2600K ASUS P8Z68 Pro Mobo 120 GB SSD as Primary Drive running on SATA 3 at 6.0 Gbps (COD4 loaded on this drive also) 90 GB secondary SSD (only SATA 2) 1 TB WD Caviar Black 64 MB Cache SATA 3 HDD 16 GB G-Skill Ripjaws RAM GeForce 570 Superclocked Video Card ok, if I can't get high FPS on COD4 with that set up, something is wrong......but what??

OK, so I have most of the parts for my new PC. I would like to set it up in a RAID format - I can't remember if it is RAID 0 or RAID 1, but it is NOT the striped one, it is the where one drive is a mirror of the other. I know my mobo supports RAID. How do I get it set up ? I will be loading Windows 7 Pro on a 90 GB SSD drive and then I want 2 1 TB drives that are mirrored. Can I do it that way? And how ??? Help!! BF3 is cool, but I like the new COD better. All about personal preference. MW3 is more like COD4, if you like that. BF3 gameplay is pretty much like BF BC2, in my opinion.

OK, I am going to have a problem getting a full sized box in my desk.....dammit. So I am looking at a larger mid-tower. I am looking at a Lian Li that looks pretty nice and is almost as big as a full sized and it will fit in my desk's little cubby hole. I need the case to be under 21" tall and less than 22" deep. So for the case.......Full Sized tower or Mid-sized tower. I would like smaller, but I want to make sure it is big enough for my video cards and good cooling as well....... Damn, I feel like a noob at this...i have never built a rig from scratch.

Ok, I am looking at new motherboard and Graphics card combos. It looks like the Z68 is a good mobo, but it also looks like it is better for ATI. If I like NVIDIA, and want to go with a Sandybridge I 7, what is a good mobo without breaking the bank??
