  3. The game resolution needs to be set to a resolution with the same aspect ratio of your monitor's native resolution in order to not have black bars.

  5. Yeah they are not as accurate as they are in the promod - and the g3 is uber accurate which makes you question if sniping is even worth doing in Ftag.

Gramps BudSrXI well good rant and if you see this is an exteme IDIOTS server and most of us are drunk or just don't care about our score that is what we do. we play have fun. so if anyone is looking for a pro freeze server you are all in the wrong server. yes we take shit and we give shit but it is all for the fun man. so just play have fun and live it up in our servers. thanks . F1 I think this philosophy is why I enjoy these servers so much. Play your own game, have fun and don't take it too seriously. I knew everyone would jump to the conclusion that I take the game super seriously... I really don't, and I really don't care how anyone plays. My rant was not about that, it was about what they are saying on coms.
  8. Well - the G3 combined with the stopping power perk is about 1.5 solid shots per kill. If you don't have full health you could die from a single shot on that gun easy - and it is heavily used in these ftag servers.
  9. Hey I am all for rushers - I am just saying don't rush in die, then tell everyone else on voice chat that we are loosing because we are not rushing. I rush sometimes as well, sometimes you are just in the mood to be rambo. Nothing wrong with it, just don't pretend it's how rounds are won.
  10. I will get straight to the point. The best way to win ftag is to camp. All you people who rush to the other side of the map right off the bat, get frozen, and then whine about how we are loosing because no one is getting out of the spawn to defrost you... well you are the people who are causing the loss. If you want to play aggressive, great, I don't care, but don't sit there and tell everyone else on comms that they are causing us to lose because they won't go defrost you. You might have killed 5 people in their spawn before you died, good work, but you know what, that doesn't help your team 1 bit. If you kill an enemy in their spawn - they will get defrosted the second after you kill them. Only exception is when the numbers get very lopsided. The way to win is to camp out in your own spawn for the first part of the round. You want the enemy to rush to you so you can freeze them as far away from their spawn as possible. You want to make the other team to have to work to get the defrost - you are not doing this when you are spawn raping with even numbers. Meanwhile, when you get frozen in your own spawn, you can get safely defrosted without putting your teammates at risk. Once the numbers get lopsided, then by all means you need to rush in to finish them off. But really, you should be up in numbers 2-1 before you even consider doing this. I understand its a pub and no I really don't take it that seriously. I just can't stand hearing people who try to say that everyone needs to rush and if we don't that's why we loose when that couldn't be further from the truth. If you are serious about trying to win the round, then you need to use your head and if your going to rush at least make a solid effort to stay in open areas that can be safely defrosted from afar. If you really don't care about winning, then do whatever you want. But don't lecture the rest of us about why we are loosing when you really are just pissed off because no one is thawing you. You are the cause of the loss, and sending more guys in to go thaw you is just making it worse, not helping. There will be exceptions to this if the teams are very lopsided skill wise, then a team can get away with a bull rush. But if the teams are closer to even, which is going to be the case 90% of the time, then being super aggressive is going to hurt your team not help it. Alright, rant is over.
  11. The Chicago map needs some work. As is, there is way too much indoor square footage. Even though the map isn't that big overall, it plays HUGE. It is too hard to close out a team and the majority of rounds on this map will go till the timer runs out. This could be fixed by blocking off a lot of the doors to buildings and stairs to shrink the map down to less area.
