I also know that with Firefox I need to do some mumbo jumbo in order to cut and paste. Which I do not do becaue I do not understand the crap I would need to do. Anyway what I do is copy the link and post it in XI forums by using the CTRL V (Paste) command. then I also hit return to go to the next line before submitting. Going to the next line seems to help set the link. Maybe it's only me who has to go through these contortions to cut and paste but I just thought it might be worth mentioning because numerous times I have seen links not working as links should. Suffice to say it works for me.

Dont forget to select Target=blank. Otherwise you leave the forum and travel elsewhere...
Ph4nt0m Posted January 26, 2011 Member ID: 1 Group: **- Inactive Registered Users Followers: 39 Topic Count: 162 Topics Per Day: 0.03 Content Count: 1909 Content Per Day: 0.38 Reputation: 121 Achievement Points: 11489 Solved Content: 0 Days Won: 1 Joined: 12/06/11 Status: Offline Last Seen: January 4, 2020 Birthday: 06/28/1975 Posted January 26, 2011 The cut and paste thing in firefox is actually the correct way that a browser should work, it's EI that is wrong, A website should never have direct access to your browser clip board from a simple right click, it should always be user interaction through the keyboard that allows for Copy/Paste The simplest way to explain that is that whever you would normally "Rigt Click then Copy" simply press CTRL and C on your keyboard and wherever you would normally "Right Click then Paste" simply hit CTRL and V instead, The Link thing is a plugin that was added to automaticly detect a link in a users post and turn it into a clickable link, you should see that when you hit your return key it gets formatted as a link but you can also click backinto the link and edit it's properties by clicking the text then clicking the smal image of a chain in to toolbar that should be lit up, this let you change the properties of the link like if it's to be opened in the same window or a new window etc These are all actually default features of te Editor that we use Dammit Nutsucker, beat me to it ....
