This is the birthday cake I made for my son, David.
It was my first time making and/or working with fondant. I think it came out pretty good for a first try.
*11/25/09 On the red velvet cake I played a trick on my son's friends. Many people don't know this, but if you add the extra few drops of red food color, your poop/pee will be red. I added about 5-8 drops of red food coloring to the bottom layer only. Some of his friends were very freaked out when they started pooping/peeing red! My son said it was awesome... one guy thought my cake was poisioned and he was gonna die!...lol.
Yes, we told him and he turned as red as his poop!

And I made the cake from Portal for my son on Thanksgiving. It was moist and delicious. This is him cutting the cake for us. He seems rude, but we were just joking around.(view my other vids to see how sweet he really is.)
