Just started getting this error which keeps knocking me out of the server and have to re-connect. I have looked up the error on google but thought it would be wise to ask the experts.

Thanks,

Tinman

Go to Start then Control Panel

Double click on the Sound Tool

Click on the Recording tab

Right click and select "View Disabled Devices"

Enable the Stereo Mix

Make sure your drivers are updated for your sound card first

There's a multitude of things to try if that doesn't work.

sometimes simply plugging a microphone in will stop it.

update sound drivers.

change a certian file type, but I can't remeber which file.

and the list goes on, hopefully your's can be fixed by one of these easy ones.
