A few days ago Steam announced the standalone release of "Cry Of Fear"
This game is a FPS Adventure which will scare you! Initially it was only a mod f

or Half-Life. If you like to give it a try: it's free to play! You can play it in single player

or the full campaign with up to for friends in coop.

I played the game for an hour now and must say that it is really scary.  It is not a graphical highlight as it is based
on the good old Half-Life engine. But I promise: It doesn't matter!

Give it a try. It's a good mix of FPS and andventure.

You'll have to download round about 3 GB.

I really like it. At next I'll try the co-op mode.

I downloaded it yesterday because my son said it was similar to fatal frame. He said that while simple, it will give nightmares if you play for a while. I'm gonna try it tonight, after dark, when I'm alone in the house and no one can hear me scream...lol
