to inform you that my wife of almost 32 years passed away on April 22nd after our long battle with lung cancer. She was laid to rest this past Saturday, April 26th. She was originally diagnosed in 2017, and in August that year had her right lung's upper lobe removed. She was good after that surgery for over four years, and in fact returned to work for a time and attended two XI Fest - the one in Niagara Falls, five or six weeks after her surgery in 2017 and the Fest in South Carolina in 2019. In 2019, Wildthing even arranged a birthday cake for her and we celebrated, since the S. C. Fest was during her birthday weekend! She also attended the Gatlinburg Fest in 2016 (her favorite one, though she loved them all)! She loved to travel, so always on board for the Fest. But ultimately, the Chemo and Radiation was not working, and you can take only so much of both. We knew it was coming, and she was on full time oxygen and on a lot of pain medications and last six months, but her passing has been difficult nonetheless. Our two sons are still at home with me, so we are staying busy and are adjusting to living without our lady in the house.
