I haven't logged in here in a while and I think that made me lose my clan membership. I'm sure a lot of you don't really know who I am at this point since I haven't been online in quite some time. I was a Crysis Wars admin and map maker, and I was a BF3 admin for a time. I haven't been active on XI for quite some time because I've been very focused on my work. I have been extremely busy programming a game. An FPS actually. We just launched on Kickstarter, and I figured I'd share the project with you guys since XI was a huge part of my gaming life. WiZiD. Google Crysis Wars Trial download. That thing is the full game. Hell, you can torrent it probably too (but that's less safe). If you can't find the trial download, I have a copy. Ray does too i believe.

We should all play before this ship goes down. I won't have time to look into making it float again until the summer. Would be a neat project though. 

However, cracked servers might work fine actually. Idk what people are saying as I haven't had time to investigate.

When they say Crysis they also mean Wars and Warhead. Those were pretty much standalone expansions. So they are no longer supported. I'm also figuring this because if Crysis 2 isn't supported, than Wars sure as hell won't be.

No support from Crytek nor EA.

 

All about the brand and numbers of players. But Crytek completely forgets that Mods of Crysis and Wars won't work anymore. Some are not in the stage to export it to CE3 and are stuck right now. Crytek has talked to EA about it, but wasn't worth it. Right now I am following some websites for a solution.

Planetside 2 is a Massively Multiplayer Online First Person Shooter. Around 2000 players can battle on one continent, and there are 3 continents (in the final game, not beta). The game is Free To Play, and not with the pay model that those who pay will win. Rather, the game is quite nicely balanced for all non spenders, and those who pay can get extra decorum and access to some things more effeciently.

Through IGN, you can get beta on September 7th (or the 4th if you buy their PRIME service). I already have the beta from a Twitter giveaway, and I must say this is quite possibly my favorite FPS to-date. Image, all XI players in one outfit assaulting a territory..

I currently play the Vanu faction on the US Beta East 1 server. Here's some gameplay:

MAV is allowed on the server. MAV riding is not allowed. Thats the rule. If it annoys you, feel free to base rape on Kharg Island as that is allowed.

How about taking the TAG system.

 

Most of us are using the name:  Name_XI and if you use the TAG system,  when you press TAB you see and in front of the name,  which makes it easyer to see:

 

[ADM]Name_XI

 

All Admin info is there :

 

1. ADM

2. Name

3. Clan name XI

 

You can easy do that by the battle.net browser.

Would great to let people know that you are an admin and to be listend to and how they get information about >XI<.

Edit: Just checked in the XI conquest 64 server and nobody really seemed to know if/when the scrim was going down. Cygon said St33l said we might have to do it after Christmas.

Yeah, i thought everyone knew it wasn't today because we couldn't get everyone together... We probably have to do it next year or at least after Christmas.

We have a confirmed 8 now. If yous are struggling just turn up with as many as you can and sure we can just play together in some server.

Yeah. I play StarCraft 2 hardcore, but I have a US account. I have a Euro account i can borrow, but it's not really worth the trouble getting on it considering how little i play on the euro server.

Most of the time its gameservers, the rest of the time its battlelog.

Firstly if you are expecting to play this game like you play call of duty games then forget it, totally different, you have to work really hard to get kills but that don't spoil the fun as you can still pick up plenty of points by repairing vehicles healing people handing out ammo helping to capture strategic points etc, i saw a player yesterday came second on his team with around 3000 points and he had not made a kill, as i said you have to work hard for kills, you really need to level up to get red dot sights for your weapons it does make it a bit easier after that, some maps are massive and i mean massive, beautiful looking too, sometimes you get shot while you are admiring the graphics etc, or you can just be distracted by watching the frenetic action, choppers  and jets falling out of the sky on fire,with men parachuting out of them, buildings crashing down around your heads, all are really impressive, it is already and is going to be in the future a great game, a game that other games will have to set new standards to equal it, but even though i give it a sparkling recommendation, this and all other games that will follow it will not have the longevity of cod2 cod4 and cod5 because for the simple reason, no mod tools etc, there will only be limited new maps when they decide to release map packs which we will have top pay for, then that will stop in about a years time when they start making BF4 and get us ready to buy that, this is not a whine at the game, i love it so far, and i knew map packs would have to be paid for etc, MW3  will be exactly the same, so with these games you gonna end up with possibly 25 maps maximum, whereas cod4 we have over 700 maps in the cod utility, and thats why probably cod4 for me will still be the best game of this type ever, but i am a cod4 admin so i have to stick up for it of course.

You have to take into account they are releasing 4 maps of 64 player size from the classic Battlefield 2. These maps are run and played 24/7 on dedicated servers. Most of these maps have a ton of gameplay depth and replayability because of their size. Also the map packs will include more weapons and vehicles.

i have played for abut 3 hours ..and all i will say is ..it is like all new games it needs help ..with some things ..wish you could see the person shooting you for  1  and real bad lag ..but like i said all the games that come out have there probs ..so it will get better ..

You'll have to be more tactical. If you get shot at, take cover immediately. Then try to hone in on the enemy position and spot them with Q, which puts an orange indicator over their head.

Yeah. YOu have to use Origin.

I pretty much agree with Rugger. Best FPS ever. There is so much you can do. 

Like yesterday, we were all in TS3 and I was flying a jet with ST33L and we were doing our own missions and you could hear everyone else talking about what they were doing, and  it was like we were playing 2 separate games yet in the same place. It is a full Battlefield experience. A lot of the maps do not work with a "run and gun" attitude like COD or even Bad Company 2. Some maps you can just run and gun, but this game is far more tactical and just realistic.
