Hi all,
For those who don't know me, here's a brief introduction; I'm Jos "Abraxas", and I've been developing custom maps for the last 15 or so years,
and right now also working as a Senior Level Designer at Crytek in Germany. My portfolio: http://www.josvanlaar.comMy good friend @Icey pointed me to this forum as you guys are actively involved with Call of Duty, and I was wondering:
Would there be any interest for an Indiana Jones multiplayer mod for CoD: World at War?I'm aware that (especially) Call of Duty: World at War is at a decline, but for an Indiana Jones (so WW2) setting, this game would be fitting as it wouldn't require much refactoring.
Call of Duty 4 is played more (afaik) but would require a ton of new assets, characters, animations etc. to fit the Indiana Jones area.
What are your thoughts on this?Thank you in advance!
PS: It could look like this (Did this back in 2011), the Raven Tavern from Raiders of the Lost Ark.

Survey: Indiana Jones?
in Call Of Duty: World At War Discussion

You mean the screenshots, or what would become the Indiana Jones mod if I would start it?
That was exactly my question; assuming I start it for CoD: World at War (because of available assets / German characters etc) - Would you play it?
I'm trying to figure out if it's not too late to start anything for CoD WaW.
The Galactic Warfare guys started out quite late for CoD4 and were pretty successful, but then again, COD4 is also still more popular than CODWaW
Also it would be multiplayer either way. Singleplayer is cooler (hearing Indy, the music etc.) but requires a lot more work and time. A lot more work.
For a game that is right now not that popular even?
