Thank you, thank you very much. I've been an eXtreme idiot, most of my life anyway. It kicked in really strong at age 13 and has been second nature ever since, so now this makes it a bit more official. I'm 52 now, so you do the math. I've been hooked on this server (ACE mod) since the day I found it in my COD4 server list and have gone to great lengths to keep it in my favorites list. (at times, relocation has stressfully kept me from playing here) There were a couple of other ACE mod servers, but they aren't operating anymore. I really miss the folks at M@yhem (hope I'm not wrong to mention them) they had some really different maps, (most with secret XXX rooms) and were good people too. Their site seemed to always be cursed with BunkPuster issues, I reckon they've moved on to other games This server is somewhat like God, to me, as one can take it with them anywhere you go. Even in the valleys of the shadows of satellite internet, where you can't play in the server, because of excessive ping times, but at least you can still get on the XI web page and stay in touch. I've always been very comfortable here and feel that I fit in as if among family and brothers/ sisters. A little more about me, can be found in my profile here on this XI page. Windows 7 professional OS can be found for less then $200, not sure what you prefer. I don't like windows 8, I haven't used windows 10 much, but most I've talked to seem to like it.

I only paid $30.00 for the 600W supply for this rig, the one it came with kicked the bucket last year. Wow, at least a kit, like the one I found, would give you a good affordable start, $200 or $300 more for the rest, if one could afford it, would still be a good deal compared to buying a whole new PC with the required hardware. You'd have a awesome rig for half the price. I built this rig in 2005, total cost was about $800. All the PC's, at that time, with the same hardware setup were going for about $1600 and up. You might be able to find one with the minimum ram required.

I could use an upgrade too, but I figure my rig would play Battlefront. I saw a PC in a box, on Ebay that had everything but the tower for $350.00. It was a quad core Pentium 3.0gh, it came with 4 gb ram, a 500gb hard drive, 600w power supply and windows 7 or 8 64bit OS (can't remember which). It's been a few months since I saw this, but I imagine there are still some to be found. I almost bought it, but car needed shoes. since you have a tower, if your handy enough to assemble one yourself, it would be an awesome deal if you could find one.
