  1. This does not surprise me, the general public tends to run this way, usually if what going on has no effect on society, then head is usually in the sand. I also agree there are lot of other peoples business the country could do without and more education (reading) is required....

  2. Hey Dean!  I have had the same problem  for years, the hair and stuff! I also went out and purchased a good set of clippers and hired my youngest Son to do the barber work. It's been many a year since that time and my Son stops by once ever other week and he cuts hair since I'm like a "CUE BALL" anyway, then we go out and I buy lunch. Since I went thru the radiation therapy for the throat cancer there is no hair  for a beard there anymore anyway. I do not recommend the radiation but a good barber for the beard. That's a suggestion, funny, I never see you anyway!!

  3. Just wanted to let everyone know, and say thanks for the assistance, it appears that the OS crashed during a shutdown sequence and the .DLL stack for the network card was hit in the head. I have tryed all of the doors that might have fixed the problem, but to no luck. Last step, FORMAT and start over.....I really appreciate the assistance!!

  4. Maybe someone can ASSIST, I had this problem show up the other night, after bringing cod4 up to the menu and to the location where you choose what server you want, I get nothing in the location where the names of the servers use to appear. I have tryed pinging the server and I get a response back from the server, but when I attempt to connect, NOTHING. When I request a refresh there is no sign of anything going on. I am able to use this machine to access the web without problems but am not able to get to or have a list of the >XI< servers. The night before I had been on line and gaming just fine. Oh, I have a laptop that is on the same lan that works just fine. I have gone thru and uninstalled the COD4, then re installed it with the same results. I have also made a copy of the cod4 from the working laptop onto the desk top with no luck. I am wondering is the problem in the device mananger with the drivers for the ethernet card???

  5. Hello there, welcome to the clan, I am also in Western Oregon, don't listen to Harry, he always has a story. Nice to have you aboard, enjoy the >XI< servers as there is a space for everyneed...
