Yep, I used to be a chef for a living. Boneless chicken thigh with some blend of spices as follows: Pataks Vindaloo Sambal Oolek dash of kosher salt dash of fine white sugar I added the sambal oolek for extra heat and the sugar to get the cripsy black parts I like on a BBQ Chicken. But it is mainly covered in vindaloo spice. If you can't find it anywhere try this recipe from Jamie Oliver's site: Vindaloo paste 2 cloves of garlic a thumb-sized piece of fresh root ginger 4 dried red chillies 1 tablespoon turmeric ½ teaspoon sea salt 3 tablespoons groundnut oil 2 tablespoons tomato purée 2 fresh red chillies a small bunch of fresh coriander Spices for toasting : 1 teaspoon black peppercorns 4 cloves 2 teaspoons coriander seeds 2 teaspoons fennel seeds 1 teaspoon fenugreek seeds How to make the above curry paste First peel the garlic and ginger • Put a frying pan on a medium to high heat and add the spices for toasting to the dry pan • Lightly toast them for a few minutes until golden brown and smelling delicious, then remove the pan from the heat • Add the toasted spices to a pestle and mortar and grind until fine, or put them into a food processor and whiz to a powder • Either way, when you’ve ground them whiz the toasted spices in a food processor with the rest of the ingredients until you have a smooth paste I use the broiler in my oven for this. line a cookie sheet with tinfoil. adjust broiler tray so the chicken is at least 3/4" away from the flame. 10 minutes fatty side up. 5 minutes other side. Serve with COD of Dirty Rice (as follows): Saucepan of water (@4-5 cups) bring to a boil and add in the following: 1 cup rice - i like basmati rice for indian style food 1 tsp chicken stock paste or a chicken bullion cube 1 fat tsp sundried tomato pesto OR a tsp tomato paste cook for 9-10 minutes. (time it) Drain remaining water put rice in a mixing bowl and add: 1 tblsp butter 1 tsp cajun spice I use: Tony Chacher's Creole Spice blend or you can substitute, granulated garlic, salt, pepper, cayenne blend mix well and enjoy. Took me a total of 15 minutes if you start the rice water to boil as soon as you put the chicken in.

I think a lot of maps were removed.. however, aside from the map that is still there with the mine fields, argh, they are only a couple maps still rotating. The map with the church, field, tunnels, well and rock landscape seems to be the only one left. Hopefully Rugger will add in a few more, not so large, and without mine fields soon!

Hey there XI, I appreciate the words... I know all complaints must be investigated... I am sorry you had to go through server logs I would love to get a scrim going Xhale vs. XI, perhaps we could do a saturday thing on FTG Server 2 (since that server seems to be used more in the night (and FTG 1 during the day). A few members of mine have mentioned they have never done a scrim b4 and would love one! With that being said, we still need a solid line-up (Solid meaning more players to be free on any given day for a scrim! Not team-stacking.. lol) So maybe we could recruit SgtDanko, TheMeek, T-Rat and Rescue911, you know a few of your not-so-good players J/K IronJ Oh yeah - Iron and Iron_Belly are part of team Iron don't let the XI fool ya'!

Funny enough I had not even thought of recruiting until weedNfeed started playing on the XI server and I thught that because of his name would make a good edition to the Xhale family.. so I got him as a friend on Xfire first, then I actually waited a week before I Xfire'd him to ask him if he wanted to join us, which I never got to do because XI had already asked and he was wearing the XI tag... which is a no-no to recruit anyone with tags on in our book, so I never did ask him, but it was a good 5 years before that that I last recruited.

Wow really ghosty?! Let me tell you this, I got you to friend me on Xfire, before I asked you and Titan to join Xhale. And I asked you on Xfire, which is the only way I CAN recruit another player. I have been a clan leader of <X> Xhale for over 10 years and our motto has always been Attitude is Everything. So where would I be if I broke another clans rules WHILE playing on their server. As far as 'team stacking' is concerned, I do not know of any of our members doing this. I don't condone it and would talk to any member that is actively doing this. It's strange that I usually find myself on the opposite team of Art_Intel.. bummer for me. To sum up: Xhale does not recruit on XI servers ever. Xhale does not 'team stack' and if you find proof of this please let me know and I will discipline my members. I don't expect or want an apology Ghosty, however might I suggest you get your facts straight before you go trying to sully my clans reputation. PS - Cavey, I have seen you playing many times with me in the server, you usually come in the morning (your time), a little before I go to bed. He is not telling the truth and I have never seen you on the 2 XI servers I play on.

lol, I know its extra work, as I said in my post, but I think, if I read the XI clan like I think I do, the members would benefit and you can run a contest for the year-to-date stats.. we ran one for monthly and yearly... sure I guess it could be fine if it was XI only involved in the year-to-date stats contest.. (as it is you server and your contest, if you ran one that is), I think it helps promote constant activity on your server(s). Of course pure kills is nice to have, but it is too easy for some people to just be a body that plays on your server for 20 out of 24 hours a day, so over kills would not be that useful as a measuring tool. It would be up to the admins to determine criteria. Here is an old screenie of one of our contests: The top ten of each month were entered into the yearly contest. (screen shot circa: 2007) Oh yea and the top 10 folks had to have put in more then, say 50 hours a month in order to qualify) Just an idea IronJ

Hello, I was wondering if whoever is in charge of the stats; rugger/greywolf? If they would have a running tally, an acumulation of each months stats. I find it very disheartening when one works real hard to try and move up the stat ladder... you finally make some progress and you view the stats and BAM your not even in the top 10 anymore, why, because the stats were reset. When I ran Xhale's server, I would combine each month for a second stat page called year to date stats... in addition to the monthly stats that get RESET every month. This way if you are a diehard XI player you can see your OVERALL progress, in addition to the monthly stats. And at the end of the year you archive these yearly stats for a great addition to any clans website. What do you think? IronJ

I am here to solve all your internet traffic needs. PROBLEM: Lag on servers or frequent Connection Interrupts (CIs) SOLUTION: Tell the Government to stop HAXING the internet!!! I strongly believe large providers (Comcast in my case) are not behaving in a smart manor. I do ping traces in NeoTrace and sent them to Comcast many times trying to get down to why I would lag. After my Nth time trying to explain to them what was up, I finally got the answer from them. They said their routing system, which routes the internet traffic from hub to hub in the event of traffic was an automated system that had no manual override and it was old and needed to be updated. This system, for instance, using myself as an example brings me from California (San Francisco) to XI's Server ONE - 208.100.0.133 - In Chicago. But here is "THE ROUTE": 18 Nodes: 1ms (San Francisco, CA)(START)(From my computer to the first hub) 36ms 10ms 10ms 13ms 17ms 18ms 17ms (San Jose, California) 30ms 51ms 52ms 75ms (Washington DC) 77ms (Chicago) 75ms (Chicago) 75ms (Chicago) 76ms (Chicago) 75ms (Washington Area)(END) Now the strange part is this: If the server is in Chicago, why am I routed to Washington DC first and then return there as my LAST ping. If the server is in Washington, Why am I routed to Chicago via Washington DC and then back to Washington DC???? Someone is monitoring traffic. Hey guys & gals, I just wanted to say sorry for the "spam" advertising I did last night and maybe 3 other times in my 8 months playing on XI servers. I didn't see Angel typing to me to stop, so it wasn't that I was ignoring her or trying to disrepect her authority. I just didn't see it. And after Greywolf chatted with me in game voice, all was well. Just wanted to explain and maybe my post will help another person who pays on the XI servers... Here's the reason it happens... My chat is on keys "T" and "BACKSLASH" and when I go in to type chat during a game (especially with the lag thats been happening) and I will usually use the "Backslash" key. Then I type something in, say like: god this lag is aweful And lo-and-behold, the "Backslash" was never pressed due to lag or me thinking I pressed it, and instead of an intelligent sentence, I accidently spam any binds on everyone of those letters. ARGH! Here's what I've done to remedy the situation... I deleted all my binds except "hi everyone", "lol" and "cough-flik". Again sorry.
