Just saw this thread and thought I might as well tell you I am getting the game 100% Played the beta a fair bit and loving it Cheers Paul. Well, we'll turn BF3 into a turkey shoot!!! lol I'll add you anyway, as a registered user...NP! I played the BETA for a good 3-4 hours tonight and had a good time! We managed to get me, Ukildme, comfort, S.t.a.l.k.e.r , Cobryis & St33L on the same server... I had a good couple of hours on it last night too, it's pretty darn good. I watched a few vids of the caspian map gameplay and that looks awesome with all the fighter jets and tanks etc. Can't wait for it to come out!

Also looking at the pics your posted it looks like it only has 512mb of ram , have you considered just putting in some extra ram? A friend of mines laptop was running dirt slow , I took a look at it for him. It took like 5 mins to get windows vista up then proberly 30 seconds everytime you wanted to open something. I checked in the task manager and it was using like 95% of its ram just on tickover. As soon as you tried to open anything it would max out at 100% and then take forever to do anything. I suggested doubling the ram , he gave me the go ahead so I ordered some more , whacked it in and jeez what a difference. From pressing the on button it was surfing the net within 1 min! And programs opened within 1 to 2 seconds. You get what I am sayin. Just another option for you which might be easier. Obviously a fresh install would speed things up some more also. Paul.

I got an Asus P5VD2-VM mobo laying around doing nothing , it takes Intel core 2 cpu's . Yours if you can get a cpu to go with it. Would imagine postage to be between 5 to 10 quid. Paul. Edit to add - This is the little one http://www.asus.com/Motherboards/Intel_Socket_775/P5VD2VM/

You having fun with your new set up? I pushed my cpu last night to see how far it could go just for benchmarks and stuff , managed a stable 5ghz at 1.46vcore. Hit a max temp of 82 degrees after 30 mins at 100% load. Back to my 24/7 clock now , but amazing how well these new chips clock! Screenshot of CPUz and core temp with Prime running for a few hours? Just currious. and what cooling are you running? Sounds Great. Wonder how it will scale on what chipset in multi GPU configurations or if it is just a work horse like the I7 was soposed to be. Hi Dread , TBH it hit 82 within the first 5 mins of prime , it then fluctuated between low 70s back up to 82 for the remainder of the 30 mins. I saw no point in running it any longer seeing as I am never going to run the cpu at 5ghz for a 24/7 setup. Like I say it was just for a couple of benchmarks and it certainly got a very good score in one of them , passmark performance test it scored 13025 for the cpu! I have a thermaltake frio for the cooler , and have the fan speeds about 1/2 way , its far too noisy on high. 24/7 clock is 4.6ghz which I feel is a nice safe level for these crazy new cpu's. CplMOFO I just received my 2 X 560Ti Twin Frozr II OCed... The cards came with an extra game I wasn't expecting...Lara Croft and the guardian of light...whatever...freebie! Also got Mafia2+Just Cause 2+ 3Dmarks11 advanced... I ran quick benchies: 3Dmarks06 = 31678 3Dmarks Vantage = 31127 3Dmarks11 = P7852 Not bad $230 per card....better performance ration than the GTX590 I had... highest temperature reached...66 Degrees celsius...pretty darn cool compared to GTX200-series and GTX400 Series... PC Porn Mofo lol Any new internal pics with wires tidied and gpu's fitted? And just out of interest how do they score in passmark performance test? Not sure if that program recognizes 2 cards as I know someone with 2x 580's and they only score 3700 Paul.

Dam man , 13 hrs , sounds like a nightmare! Mine took around 1hr build time , couple of hrs installed shite then a couple of hrs messin in the bios clocking and stuff. I have the same ssd as you and same memory I think , both run very nice. Am sure you will be real happy with your new rig. Glad its all running sweet now. Paul.

Ace mod kicks ass mofo , used to play it loads a couple of years back , infact thats how I came about finding XI , just happened to play on that server and loved it , then I did a search for the website. I had a quick go on it a minute ago and it still rocks , hopefully catch ya on there one day or night.

Lol mofo , that's some serious cash you have spent over the last few weeks! I thought I was bad haha. Mind you I am already thinking about a new case seeing as mine is a load of shite. LaRSin was that the overclock (4.6) in turbo mode or idle ? Speaking for myself , I am sure mofo is the same tho... I have simply changed the mulitplier to 46 and set the voltage to 1.36vcore. I have disabled all power saving modes , it runs at 4.6 permanently. Paul.

That's ashame , but hey if you aint happy with it you did the right thing! What are you thinking then? Is it just a single card you are after?
